As time marches inexorably forward events in our moderators lives means that some of them are able to spend less and less time perusing Dakka. Combine that with Dakka's continued growth in users & posts and that means we do occasionally need to add ever more moderators to the mix to help keep the site running as well as it does.
As always, the goal of selecting any new moderator is to find someone who is calm, cool and polite under pretty much any circumstance and I do think our two newest moderators are certainly among the best examples of such behavior.
So please give a warm welcome to both AgeOfEgos & Morathi's Darkest Sin as Dakka's newest moderators.
And please remember that all moderators on Dakka are unpaid volunteers who end up putting hours and hours of their free time into what essentially amounts to another job just to help keep the site and the community flourishing. I, and everyone who enjoys using this site, owes them all a continuing debt of gratitude!
