Title says it all. How many armies do you own? How large are each of them? Do you try to limit the number of armies/models you have?

Currently, without allies I have the following

Grey knights - around 10kpts. (Maxing out possible options and using my Paladins as Grandmasters I could push around 20k)

Imperial Guard - have yet to figure out how much I have point wise but its easily 4-5kpts

Space Wolves - around 2kpts (these were more or less apocalypse formations)

Daemons - around 1200pts

Chaos Space Marines - 1000pts

In the past I forced the sith rule of two on myself, never more than two armies. Ally rules ruined that, as did my buddy playing a warlord Titan in apoc games lol. So share your armies and sizes!

I tend to stick to 1 for each game I play. Tyranids, Vampire Counts, Haqqislam.

Though I have a ton of Salamanders from when I played in 3rd edition floating around, and the Chaos from the Dark Vengeance starter.

About 1500-200pts of Orks (never really checked), and about 500pt of Dark Angels.

I try to limit myself, cause I build armies way too quickly and get stuck with a pile of unpainted models. I'm actually looking to get rid of my WFB because no one near me plays. So I'll see them and spend that most likely on expanding my orks or guard.

I have 4 40k armies.

Eldar, which are now my main army, I have about 2500 points worth of them give or take.
I also have about 2500 points of Nids, my second army.
I have 1250 points of Black Templars and 1000 points of Orks, both are sitting until I finish painting them.

I have 40k: around 2500 nids and fantasy :around 2500 for empire

1000-1500 of grey knights depending on upgrades, plan to start guard soon though. I find two armies fora any system useful as you can mix up things to keep it fresh.

In Fantasy I have
2400+ of Warriors of chaos (I can easily hit 3500 if I use some special characters I have)
2000 Points of Tomb Kings
400 points in Dwarfs (stopped collecting them for now as the local groups shifted over to 40k with the release of 6th ed)

Dark Angels- about 5 or 6k

Tyranids-over 5k

Chaos-about 1500 points and some daemons.

Let's see... I haven't played since 3rd, so I am not sure on points totals. I have:

Necrons, which are probably my most complete army.

Chaos Space Marines, which is mostly converted HQs and elites, maybe one day I'll turn it into a real army.

Orks, which are mostly just unpainted boys and various vehicles

Dark Eldar, I have a few HQ choices and the Megaforce from last year that I plan to use to start an army, nothing painted or assembled.

Recently, my dad gave me his IG and Space Wolves, as he used to play in 3rd but really enjoyed the modeling more than anything else. Unfortunately his eye sight has deteriorated and he passed his armies on to me because he can't paint a lot any more.

I recently got the DV box set and I plan to add this year's Space Marine Megaforce to it to make a new Dark Angels army eventually. I used to play them, but the models were mostly ruined by attrition and a failed attempt at paint stripping, so I'll be starting over.

This is all my really long way of saying I own 6 armies, if you use a really loose definition. Maybe 2 or 3 that are truly table worthy.

I have four armies that are completely painted: Sisters of Battle, Black Templars, Imperial Fists, and Imperial Guard. All clock in at 2500 - 3000 points. The Sisters and the Guard are my favorite of the four.

I also have a ton of necrons in various states of assembly and paint, as well as a much smaller array of Chaos, Eldar and Dark Eldar. All were attempts to get a non-Imperial army up and running, but none of them ever really took off.

I might have a problem.

I have about 6k of nids almost all painted, to be completed by Christmas for a mega game at Warhammer World.

About 4k each of Eldar and Grey Knights.

Just starting a chaos army and it is under construction but it is projected to be about 3k.

All estimates, I'm sure you can find similar threads where I rounded differently. All painted to high table top standard with some propaint commissions here and there, except all the Orks, half the Tau, and another 2k here and there.

Orks, 2,500.
Malifaux, all guild models with exception to storm of shadows.
Dystopian wars, just French naval and armor starter boxes.

That is enough, however, starting to work on death company allies.

Too many. Nine? Ten? Six 40k and three or four WFB depending on whether I actually do anything with this Wood Elves Battalion I found lying around. The Tau and the Wood Elves apparently aren't important enough to rate mention in my signature, though.

Oh! And maybe number ten/eleven, technically, if I get around to making a side force out of my Scouts and Assault Marines that never see play with my Dark Angels army.

DE - first army played, 3rd ed, sold all old models, also Ravagers and Raiders at ebay, and got a new one

Space Marines and Blood Angels - DoA and mech

CSM - EC army played since 3rd ed, TS and PM sold at ebay

Orks - sold at ebay up to Lootas, HQs, and Nob Bikers

GK - played since new codex came out

Skorne - Hordes faction.

Hobby's too expensive to get more than one and I sold my WHFB army because 8th is a steaming pile of dogs....oup.

I have well over 6k in Necrons, and about 4k in Eldar and Tyranids.

I just started Chaos, but I'm hovering at around 2500 right now with them. I'll be adding more shortly, likely some Allied Daemons!
