Tis the season and what not. I was thinking about what games were on my Wishlist for 2017. IN other words, games I want to buy and try but haven't yet.

Here are some of mine in a approximate order of desire:

3. Martian Empires- Black Hat- Steampunk Battle
4. Chain of Command- WWII
5. Battlegroup- WWII
6. This is Not a Test- Worlds End Publishing- Post-Apoc Skirmish
7. Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes- Ganesha Games- Fantasy Skirmish
8. Empire of the Dead- Westwind- Steampunk Skirmish
9. Hail Caesar- Warlord- Ancients
10. Aeronef- Brigade- Steampunk Air/Navy

So, what do you have on your wishlist?

Pretty short list.

2. X-wing (played it twice, but I do not own anything)

I would also like to play all the other games I own, but that's a different list.

Would like players who want to try other stuff beside Magic and 40K. But I shouldn't complain at least I can get 40K games in now.

I've just started playing Spectre, and I'd like to do more of that.
I'd like to actually finally play some games using the Kickstarter edition of Ogre, but that's unlikely.

I think it's just new Bloodbowl. Everything else I want is for games I already own.

How about the release of Island of Blood miniatures? Is that an option? Yes you get Skaven in there as well but at least with the Aelfs you get some nice ones as well. Not sure if you have them or not.

These are New Zeeland prices. Rumour are suppose to cost as much as "get started" boxes.

As for the original post, I'm looking forward to delivery of Rogue Stars and, although I've replaced any trace of my old 40k habit with Maelstrom's Edge, I'm still tempted by Gates of Antares whenever I see the starter on sale. If it's Bolt Action in space I know I'll love it.

I think the big two for me are Black Ops and Dragon Ramapant. I've already got both rulebooks and have started putting together forces for them but not had a chance to play them yet and won't until sometime next year. I am really looking forward to playing both of them. I'd also like to give Clash at the Fringe a go, looks like a fun rule set very much in the spirit of 40k Rogue Trader but with modern rules and mechanics. Aside from those more Osprey "blue books" are definitely on my shopping list might also look at getting the 2nd edition Bolt Action rules but I'm not sure if I'll play it enough to justify it. More board games would be nice too I do love a good board game.

Mice and Mystics and Hail Caesar are both up there for me.

I've spent too much this year, so I've asked for practical items. My mum's too old to shop; she enjoys giving money. Any cash will be used to recover from:

Yes that's the one

Quite handy if you are getting into SAGA and want something you can play with a reduced model count, or as some alternative missions for a dark age campaign.

I have both sitting here, with expansions. But getting my group to try them is like pulling teeth. They all seem super interested until I suggest actually playing them then they want to play Infinity or Malifaux instead.

Actually get to play more Zombicide

Biggest wish of all is to get my kids excited to play.

Only thing on my radar at the moment of Dropfleet Commander. I don't normally like fleet games, but the model kits look fantastic - I love the idea of it being a game based around landing troops etc. (to justify the combat), etc. It's awfully tempting. I imagine I'll end up with the rulebook before I decide to buy in.

I think I need to add Gates of Antares to my list . I saw an open box of the xilos campaign and the plastics look excellent.

Well, I wish I had all sorts of these games! Realistically though the only game I am planning on really investing in is the new runewars miniature game from FFG. It looks like it'll be a lot of fun if it can get a solid community behind it and FFG supports it enough.

At some point I'd like to try Imperial Assault.

I got to look at gates of Antares fills campaign box again today, it might draw me in.

I'm actually going to get Bolt Action (v2) finally (it's in Santa's workshop waiting to be delivered), so 'may' get into that - although I said the same two years ago when I got Infinity O:I - still haven't had a game (or done anything with the models...)

My only recent success at a new game was Star Wars X-Wing last Christmas, but only because it's a pre-painted - out of the box game

I would though be seriously tempted if Necromunda gets a re-release (please GW here my wish..)
