I just think that's wonderful. The power fist is already an over the top weapon, and that's one of the only ways you can go beyond that.
Well, besides sticking a chainsaw underneath it.

What's the purpose of this topic? Probably your favorite over the top weapon on a model I guess.

He looks dumb and strong, like Space Marine should, and even though I don't collect Marines I would definitely run him, I mean, slowly 5" walk him to the enemy while saying every meme dorn alfabusa joke I remember.

Head looks dumb, rest is kinda cool. I think it's one of those models that don't look that good on pictures.

Assuming that's giant-sized Lysander, it seems a shame he's ditched his traditional weaponry.

I don't think it is. Each character has a quote in the video and I think it's these new guys.

It's not Lysander. The datasheet is leaked.

I like the Salamander guy but the Fist one is just boring. Not bad or good just boring. Perhaps because I'm sick of constant Marines or maybe it's that apart from the back gun he looks incredibly generic.

Weird, I had the total opposed reaction! I thought the IF character was a big departure in design for a marine Character, with his gear more focused on support tech with the apparatus on his other shoulder and left arm. Very cool in my opinion.

It looks too much like a battlesuit for my tastes, not enough like an armoured man. Also, Strength 12 (13 against vehicles/buildings) fist? But Marines get a save on a 6+.

I thought it was a triple barrel bolter until I saw that datasheet. I don't play Fists, but I hope for their sake, he comes with a helmet option, because the Desperate Dan chin is just hilarious. After Shrike's fringe and this guy's chin, I can't wait to see what bizarre head Games-Workshop can come up with next.

As for over the top, I think that trophy still firmly belongs to the Repulsor Executioner: an up-gunned version of what was already the most outrageously over weaponized contraption outside of the back of some 9 year old's copy book.

I like the model overall, but the face leaves a lot to be desired. Hoping for a helmeted option.

I was thinking I'd need a helmet, but his steely gaze and stout features suggest that no bullet would ever dare to strike him in the noggin'.

He has a force field anyway, he's all good.

I love the "IMMA SMACK YOU IN THE MOUTH" aesthetic they are going for. Especially since he's got mounted grav cannons apparently, and he looks like the bad toy from Small Soldiers...

For reference:

My only problem with Mr. Brass Knuckles is the Gravgun has no visible aiming mechanism, it looks like it's just laying over the backpack with nothing but the cable balancing it there. I actually applaud going for some variety and not doing the obvious "Gravstorm Gauntlet" mount, but it needed another pass or two.

My favourit FW model is an imperial fist guy with a shield and a fist, so this guy looks okey. The gun and its placement is strange and takes away from the model IMO. Bulky big space marine guy and a nice model. The salamander one is nice too. heavens above the wierd looking RG dude

Even without the leak, its in the video.

I do not like this guy at all. He looks more like a toy than a gaming piece. He's just missing the ripcord in his chest that you pull out so the "model" can yell "For the Emperor!".

So it looks like he has single barreled bolters on his wrists, maybe meltas? Flamers?

The salamanders sculpt is much better in my eyes.
The IF guy just looks pretty derpy and that's with a pro paint job, I really hope he gets a helmet option.

So it's a Power Fist that is x3S and flat D3. Nice.

Another Over-the-Top model I've always like is the GK DreadKnight. It gets a lot of flakk for looking like a baby carrier, but the reasoning for it is suitably OTT. GKs are already anti-Daemon specialists and most of their characters can go 1v1 against Greater Daemons, but we also need an augment suit to put them at the same height and OP scale as a GD (fluff-wise anyway)

Also Centurions - A suit of armour for your armour

Regarding Adrax Agatone - I really like the model, especially his wargear but my only complaint is the fire pintle on his back. It would have looked better as 2 smaller ones. But as 1 central flame, I keep seeing it as Abaddon's hair piece

Nope, no weapons in his fist. They are probably a secondary punch that occurs after the initial punch, hence the x3 strength of the weapon.

I love the model personally, I think the fist is really cool but the backpack gun does look a little converted. The model will be improved a hell of a lot once you replace the face with an Aggressor or Inceptor helmet, then it will just look plain nasty. Below is a very quick image edit with a red aggressor helm.

Already looks infinitely better

To be fair, the GK DK came out before the first plastic Greater Daemon, so it's size being "necessary" to match their size wasn't the issue when the DK was designed.
But otherwise, I agree with your sentiment. Scale creep is pretty ridiculous.

No, look at his NON-power fist. He has a gun on it. Seconded by the belt of ammo going to the fist. It's the same with the other fist. He's got powerfisted guns, ala Bobby and Vulcan.

They both look like they were intended to be Vulken and Lysander but either fluff changed or they bottled it and just made the generic charter a and b.

That is the only thing that explains the fists head, the sculpt was done then with 30mins warning they needed a new head for it and enter desperate derpy Dan.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

My only dissapointment with the fist (otger than no reveal of what the rest of it looks like) is that the knuckles weren't made to look like little Imperial Fists.
