Does anyone know of any tournament either doubles or singles in the Toronto area that are coming up? I know Heavy Support has one every month but I can't make their next one in April. Let me know if any of you know of any coming up soon. Or of any coming this year that are a must go to.I know Astronomi-con is some time in June. Thanks

I am waiting to hear a confirmation from Rythem for tomorrow at 11 a.m. Thursday I might be able to play... just waiting on a confirmation from a friend regarding another engagement, which is likely not going to happen. I am going to call you now to see if we can meet and exchange.

If everyone wants a tournament... why don't we just have one at Legends???? If we have the guys interested, we can have it scheduled and hosted, no problems.

Yeah i'm good for 11am tomorrow, as for a tournie they are pretty easy to run/setup we just need to actually get people to show up and be able to stay for the entire time. We would also need legends permission, and someone willing to play as coordinator/judge.

Fastest set-up ever for me. I'm still fiddling with the army like I spoke with you about, more dakka, and now I need to start gluing more stuff together. It was a great game, JonST is a great guy to play against and his space wolves don't resemble any of the cheese I've been told space wolves "always" do. It came down to the wire and the loss on my end was due to not knowing what the most dangerous part of his army was, and excellent positioning and movement on his part. Sadly I've never before lost 3 in a row, but I'm learning a new style of guard so I'd rather lose now and learn. I had no luck with my biggest guns, but that was offset by taking down 4 thunder hammer/storm shield termies fresh out of their drop pod with 3 rapid firing lasguns on turn 2!!! I love dice games. . I'm now torn between finishing tweeking and painting my guard army and starting on chaos marines.

Yeah, good games kungfu, I thought you had me with all those tanks and when you wiped out my first RP and his squad. Thankfully those new thunderwolf models really pulled through and their extra toughness made all the difference.

On a side note the guy I played with right after you focussed so much on my Cav, after watching out game, that he ended up getting just about wiped by turn 3.

We could also do a 2v1, if you both play around 1500 i could field every model i have and do 3k BA. I'll bring both armies though incase he shows up late or not at all .

I forgot to post the message, but Dark and my bat rep is up under 501 Muskokans. I only figured out how to properly do the pics at the end, so they're all at the bottom. . Also, forgive the spelling errors and the like, I hit submit when I meant to hit preview. . I'll see about starting the nids one next. To bad I didn't think there was time to stop for notes in pics in our game JonST. That one would have made for an epic. If any imperial allies want to send me a very brief summary of any games I'd be happy to work it into my narrative for background pre-2v2/2v1 epicsness at legends.

I just think it's a shame that you're marines turned to chaos. Or was it just that you thought we were with the alpha legion warband that we got you all warmed up for. It was a tragic mistake. We had gotten word that the Legion was opperating in the area and we came upon your forces. It's a shame the grey hunters and terminators died so fast. By the time we realized you were space wolves, your honour demanded blood. But, as you saw, your "Lone Wolf" was unable to put down, Lt Maxwell Power and he survived to write the report that was sent on up the chain of command. It remains to be see whether or not your "pack" will be declared "renegade" and a proper force will be sent to put you down. Kill all of us you want, we have plenty more where we come from!!!

JonST: lots of talking... and ducking Legends! I guess the wolves are more nocturnal.. maybe that's why they can't make it out to Legends in the game time hours.

Oh Dark, I'll be available to play tomorrow (thursday) after work at legends. What time are you available? Also how many games do you want to play? Depending on how many games and what time you're good for, I'll try to adjust when I can come out. 2000 points, I hope.

Had one loss (tyranids beat me 11to 4; kill points), and one huge win today. The win was a 3-way kill points game.. Dark eldar versus tyranids vs necrons. Great game that went to turn 7. Dark eldar won with 12 points, tyranids had 11 and necrons had 4 points ( tabled in 6). Stay tuned for the battle report!

I can make it down by 4:00, or a little earlier if needed.

Okay... 4 p.m. is fine. I will see you at Legends at 4 p.m. We can get in one game for sure. 2000 points.

We will be having a league and hopefully regular tournaments hosted at Legends as soon as we get everyone organized. I will let you know when the first date is set. Thanks.

I may be able to get out to legends this Sunday and if your there I may be able to introduce you to the thunderwolves.

Legends is located at Langstaff and Hwy 400 (Woodbridge). So, if limited to transit, you would take subway to Downsview station and I would pick you up there! I think go bus/train also comes pretty close.

I might be 15-20 minutes late depending on traffic, Dark.
