Seems legit.
Either that or the werebears attack wolves who are being forced out of their habitats and then these wolves attack humans who get to close. Or maybe a werehuman bit a wolf and... this is just silly, I'm sorry.

My dad heard me ranting about the game to some friends. He didn't hear the rant, only heard the name, and my "excitement." He also saw a commercial for it on TV over the weekend... Guess who has an unexpected copy of Skyrim? Guess who is eating his words about hating the combat system? It could still be improved imo, but its far better than my experiences with Morrowind and Oblivion... Or it might just be that I'm a console player, and so I'm used to it (unlike my GotY editions of TES 3 & 4)
I still haven't quite figured out what I want to do yet with my Nord... right now he's quite good at destruction spells, one handed weapons (axes), and heavy armor...

Does heavy armour make being a mage hard in skyrim? I vaguely remember it was detrimental to your magicka in oblivion.
Hasn't been detrimental yet... I have an Iron Helm of Magicka on atm, and I haven't noticed anything off except that I'm not wearing robes that speed up my regen, so if anything it balances out. My magic takes a little longer to regen, but I'm handy with an axe and shield, so its not like I'm gonna die...

Good god this game is amazing. I've had to work 32 hours since the game's midnight release and have still managed
-All of the Dark Brotherhood quests
-All of the stormcloak quests
-Half of the Thieves Guild quests (and for gameplay alone on these was worth the price of the game)
-Stealth 50
-Blacksmithing 55
-level 22
...still don't have a house...
Currently I have an Imperial called Gorgan( my standard RPG name now lol) sneaking around sniping people in the face with bows then usually slashing them if need be. He also pops the odd healing spell when I remember to actually equip the damn spell.
Having fun atm, plan on using a High Elf aswell for some mage gameplay.
When the rich rage war it's the poor who die
Armies I have: Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, High Elves
Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar
Armies I may get: Dark Angels, Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts
Also: I totally forgot to mention how much I lol'ed when I first met General Tullius and was greeted by the voice of Captain Bailey. For the rest of the Imperial Campaign I pictured him as a C-Sec officer with a heavy East-Canada accent

Fought my first Dragon last night. Took such a beating I ended up cowering in a deserted house whilst he snacked on my horse before flying off.
Well thats 1000g down the drainpipe.

Dragons aren't that hard IMO, I take most down with 2-3 power attacks.
Unless it's a blood dragon, not only are they the strongest, they have such a keen nose that they seem to sniff you out whenever you run out of healing potions.

I don't even want to think of what it takes to kill a Giant... I had to cheat my way past the quest you pick up from Skjor...
Went to the sleeping tree camp, walked into the cave, summoned a fire atronach (which used up 90% of my magicka), popped a brief invis potion, grabbed the sword and booked it back to town...

Giants aren't that difficult, it's mainly getting the drop on them and keeping them at range that's important. I managed to kill two in a row at level 15.
