Try shaving?
My most recent character actually stayed a werewolf. She's a Nord 2H fighter with heavy armor that I'm focusing on the Stormcloak quests with. Nothing like changing right outside one of the fort quests and just eating your way through an entire Imperial garrison.

They're actually referring to the fact that you're highly skilled in light armor (I forget what the cutoff skill level is), not the fact that you may or may not be wearing it.

In Morrowind they would comment on the value of your armor.
Edit: If you have it on PC there is an excellent 'cheat' mod called Leveler's Tower.

It isn't...but its easier to find the resources for.
But yeah, it is silly that dragonplate needs more smithing than daedric. I think bethesda derped there :/.

Try doing that quest for that museum in dawn star. If you choose to kill him in the end, a new area should open up that spawns daedras regularly. Failing that, there are some merchants who sell them.

So I found a Cave In the Reach that had magic Spiders and some crazy Necromancer.
What pissed me off was there was no journal saying "I'm a nutter and _______ is why I made Magic Spiders". ANYWHERE.
I turned that place upside down hunting for any reason to give Spiders the Flame/Frost/Shock cloak spells, but Nothing.

There was one that said The little spiders died whenever he tried to make them magic, but no explanation on why he needed magic spiders in the first place.
Something that strange deserves a "Why the hell I am doing this" Journal.

I found that same cave! It was where the forgemaster's fingers were.
also, whats the best armor set for a sneaky charater? I have uber Nightingale (at least 80% better smithing effects and 100 smithing) atm, but I was wondering if there is anything better? Dont like the Dark Brotherhood armor though, so any other than those two?
