Look, I can see that your men do not wish to die a pointless death. How about we do this without the threat of arms, no matter how impotent they are against my army. Is there any way for me to have this here planet, and several nearby ones, I am more reasonable than some of my comrades, so perhaps they could be traded?

Maybe even some sort of treaty to stop warfare against your kind for a century, or some other reasonably short amount of time? I doubt you are the only species I have to face in this galaxy.

You see, that is a perfectly rational thing, problem is, their Imperium is nonsensical, extremely xenophobic and not prone to rational thinking, if they think they can't hold a planet, they blow it up, on the other hand the blue peasants who have lost their noses due to frostbite are way more reasonable and probably a treaty could be achieved with them.

This galaxy was suffering a plague, and the necrontyr sacrificed their hold on it until the plague died off. Thus, we underwent a great hibernation until it was prime for the taking, even if it meant fighting it back from lesser races.

*glances at BC*

We call the time of our dormancy the Great Slumber, and now we undergo the Awakening, when all necrons will awake and take back what it rightfully ours.
