Thaddeus: Ghouls...
*He goes on to explaining what ghouls are and what they eat*
Thaddeus: But you wont need to worry. I wont let harm come to anyone in this room.
*He says gently with reassurance deep in his smooth voice*

*Rachel listens, and looks horrified.*
Rachel: They.. eat.. people?
*Her wings quiver slightly in fear, but slowly stops from Thaddeus's reassuring voice.*
Rachel: O-okay I-I won't worry... is it dangerous... to fight ghouls I mean?

*Thaddeus doesn't answer her question directly so he doesn't worry her*
Thaddeus: I've been fighting them all my life... and here I am today.
*He smiles warmly and then thinks to himself*
//"all of my fellow officers are dead though..."//

*Rachel nods, more to herself then to Thaddeus.*
Rachel: Th-that is true... I'm sorry.. I don't like violence, but at least you help people..
*She smiles warmly back, and feels those butterflies again. Has a awkward silence, and quickly thinks of something to say.*
Rachel: Do you have family here? I see a lot of families here...
*Looks slightly sad again as she remembers her parents.*

*Walks back with Jake, though she has a fairly noticeable limp*

Thaddeus: Every member in my family passed away when I was 16.

*He thinks of Arya and he visibly misses her*

*takes over a sofa and watches a dumb stoner movie*

*Rachel looks utterly devastated by the news.*
Rachel: Passed away? You mean dead?
*She looks down, and tries to hold back tears.*
Rachel: I'm sorry... *She looks up at him, and looks determined.* I-I can be your friend!
*Thinks to herself on how she has no friends.*
Rachel: Oh! Bye Marilania!

*Jake wraps a arm around Denny, and helps her along.*

*Thaddeus gently grabs Rachel's chin*
Thaddeus: Shh.. Don't be upset, Rachel. It's alright.
*He soothes her with kind words of reassurance and he looks more worried about her crying than he does the situation.*
Thaddeus: Don't cry... I'd be glad to have you as a friend.
*He makes eye contact with her and his deep gaze glimmers with sincerity*
Thaddeus: I won't allow you to cry since you are my friend.
*He lightens the mood by standing and then turning toward her*
Thaddeus: How about we go for a nice walk, hm?

*marilania looks back*
Only going to relax with Marla.

Plus well.. I felt slightly intruding, kinda.. Was a tad personal to our handsome gentleman.
*gives a well subject of dead family and such is kinda uncomfortable look *

*joins Marla on sofa catching up on things and such watching "insert bad but relaxing stoner movie"

*Rachel eyes glow purple, and little sparks of purple energy dance across her wings.*

*She nods to him, and wipes away her brewing tears.*

Rachel: A walk sounds fun!

*Maggie looks at Flagg as they close in on the last village*

Maggie: Now to see if she is where we think she is.

*Leo squeaks at mini Amy hoping around*

Thaddeus: Alright then. Lets go.
*He takes her hand and leads her outside and into the forest*
Thaddeus: Beautiful isn't it?
*His warm brown eyes shine with intensity and satisfaction at the scenery*

*He gaze moves to Rachel *
Thaddeus: What is your favorite flower?

*Rachel follows after Thaddeus, smiling happily. She then looks around the forest, and takes a deep breath of fresh air.*
Rachel: It is..
*She nods happily, then looks up at Thaddeus again, and feels those strange butterflies again.*
Rachel: M-my favorite flower! Well I don't know the name... but they have purple petals, and have a yellow center! What is your favorite?
*Hoping she is being a good friend.*

*Flagg nods.*
Flagg: She must be here... or... the room.
*Shifts his form, and starts the attack of the village.*

Thaddeus: Flowers are the music of the earth. My favorite are the camellias.

*Thaddeus smiles to himself and he finds a small patch of daisies*

Thaddeus: Do you know the meaning of your name, Rachel?

*He eyes her intensely*

Thaddeus: It means "Lamb". And mine.. well..  Greek Θαδδαῖος, Thaddaios, from Aramaic תדי, Taddai means a heart.. or courageous heart. I wish to live up to it.

*Rachel stares around at the daisies, the looks up at Thaddeus with her innocent purple eyes.*
Rachel: I... didn't know that...
*She holds the gaze, and feels those strange butterflies.*
Rachel: You are courageous! You fight... ghouls, and protect the weak!
*She smiles.*
Rachel: You have pretty eyes!
*Reddens slightly.*

*Thaddeus raises an eyebrow with amusement*
Thaddeus: Mine? You have yet to get a good look at yours if you believe my eyes are pretty, Rachel.
*He chuckles and smiles with genuine happiness. He then looks worried at her reddening cheeks*
Thaddeus: Do you have a fever? Are you feeling light headed?
*He looks worried for her*

*Maggie sits back and watches Flagg destroy the village*

Maggie: She's not here...

*Maggie angers slightly at the thought of going back to the room*

*Walks along with Jake*
*Leans on him, and sighs happily*
I think we should do something fun.

*Amy nods, and uhh... Crawls into Leo*
*Finds it quite comfortable*

*Got fethed up by something in the forest*

*Rachel giggles at the complement.*

*She smiles back, then looks confused by his worry.*
Rachel: Fever? No I-I'm fine! Those pancakes were just magical!
*Cheeks redden more, and she still smiles, but is also confused by what she is feeling.*

Jake: Sounds like a plan.. Maybe some video games or a movie?
*Tries to hide his concern for her limp.*

*Kara holds Maiev and watches her sleep*

Thaddeus: Never doubt it.
*He has a flash back of a young girl about the age of 13 staring into a mirror and looking troubled. The younger girl poked and prodded at her face and began to cry with unhappiness.*

Thaddeus: Was that your first time having some? I could always make you your favorite food whenever you like.
*He offered kindly*

*Leo holds her mouth open as Amy walks into it*

*Leo can't talk now because she'll chew up Amy*

*Rachel nods to Thaddeus.*
Rachel: I won't.
*She smiles, and nods again.*
Rachel: Yes those were my first pancakes, and waffles! I must say so far those are my favorite food.
*Looks curious.*
Rachel: Did you put magic in them? They made me feel... giddy.
*Giggles.*

Sounds good. Maybe we can hit the range. I need to be able to shoot straight if Flagg and his butt-buddy come back.

M: I... I need to go for a while.

Thaddeus: I knew I was a decent cook but I assure you there was no magic in them.
*He ruffled her hair playfully and began to lead her back to the Main room*

*Leo closes her door and falls to the floor*

Leo: N-n-not in there...

*She digs her claws into the floor and her tail thrashes around*

*She moans trying to contain herself*

*Kara frowns*
K: Is everything alright? What's wrong?

*Santiago smiles at Joalia*
S: Good morning, Joalia.

*Amy chirps, which is almost inaudible considering where she is*
*Floofs up, and stops moving*
*Gets comfy*

M: I don't know yet. But you need to stay here, where it's safe.
