Trust me, if you go height, you need no more than 4x4. I figure there are two ways of supporting the 'table' level. Build 4 sturdy legs, and build set scenery around the 4. (stairway columns, suppert shafts, stuff like that)
Or you build one central leg, and build lower level scenery around it. Either way you can now divide the lower section in parts and height levels. Say 4 height levels below table, meaning 4 times the normal amount of 'floor' boards. Have them with structures built in and a flat top, so as to support the next level. 4 height levels is enough to avoid getting wobly, and high enough to allow play access.
On top of the table you can continue the principle. Keep everything flattened at the same height,and just stack. Make some boards the size of 2 or 3, so you can also create bigger height gaps.
Heck, its a system anyone could participate in anywhere in the galaxy as long as floor size and height remain universal

My buildings are closest I get at the moment, as they are all stackable due to all the flat roofs and same hight levels.
More buildings on top of each other make a bigger scraper...

The supports dont matter as long as you have access points to get above and below ground. The supports I meant were the actual legs of the table...

Only 1 breakage
A few bubbles, but not many
I've always had to glue these back together after demolding with the old stuff, it always cracked, now just a few bubbles, that's all
No door ever survived the previous 6 pours, this one is pristine!

Yeah, I mean demolding quicker means casting faster. They are ever so slightly damp still, but drying super FAST. I would obviously wait until they were dryer before gluing them together, maybe an hour or so, but we shall see!
