I think you are reaching for the sky... and you have wet fingertips from the clouds already... the face of these grim dancing marines are probably without any doubt your best work yet...... I can even see ol blue eyes....man... I think some devoted marine kid is wishing for a private hell for you now

Lol! good pick for the poses so the pom poms team looks sweet! I was wondering what was Cam doing with Spess Muhreens?

I just spat my tea half way across the room cheerleader marines and those pom poms just hilarious they actually look right in the pose as well brilliant just brilliant

I was thinking that myself, the marine arms are just the right angle.

Such perfection.

I can't tell which is more nightmarish - the space marine cheerleaders or the ork with cleavage.

Cam, I am disappointed. I see a Miller Genuine Draft bottle in the background. I hope that you aren't drinking that swill*. Please tell us that you use it to kill slugs in the garden or something.

*Although it is much better swill than anything with the letters b*u*d in the name.

For some reason I don't feel as shocked or disturbed by that orc or marine cheerleaders as I should, maybe I need to up my medication.

Or maybe its just the sheer amout of skill and effort that has gone into making them and the awesome terrain around them.

OK boring update tonight...
Cleaned up a bit and stuck up a couple shelves, (think I might have to start selling some of this junk.)


Then..We have all seen these before..



Thought I would do some other bits to add as scatter...
Take some cardboard, and roll it up.

Cut to length..

Add a base..

Make some lids.

Score the sides and "crumple" the cans.

Next Paint. Prime black, coat of chainmail, then stipple with Hobgoblin Orange.

Wash of orange/red ink.

Dry brush with, chainmail.

Add some details.

And there we are.


Sorry I know it is boring, no pompom's. Thank you for looking in.

Nice workspace shot too, funny thing about globalization, so many same things around the bench (barring the paints, not even close to that myself!) halfway around the ball! well, come think of it, shouldn't be so surprised... me posting in English, in a war-games forum, commenting on a UK-made game...

I wondered where you were going with this post then it suddenly made sense, no only do they make great trash receptacles you could still store bits in them double purpose

The bins were a work of genius at first I thought they were just going to be open topped bins, but no you went the whole hog and made good old tin bins.

Mind you I keep thinking of a grot dusty bin now

Maximum overdrive here, I think If the devil is in the detail, well, we know what that makes you eh?

Truly amazing work, real inspiration to get out of our holes and do something productive with our time. I may need to find a paint brush and get cracking.

But Space Marines with pom poms? Not sure my world will ever be the same....

This is hilarious and awesome. All the little details are great, and I love the fact that the Ork driver's seat looks like an afterthought. The cheerleaders are... disturbing.
