My word that's a true horde. Looking great mate, and the CSM contingent is an intimidating ally. Keep it up!

I like the uniform color on the guardsmen, the yellowish tan contrasts well with the dark metal armor.

Such a lot of awesome work, the guard look great but I have to agree with the others, the scales on the Legion tanks are fantastic. Such a cool look.

Actually the militia will be the ally to my AL, if only because of AL allies shenanigans

I am quite proud of the scales. Yet i must horde. Also there will be even more things to come for those that like kitbashes since i will turn this army into a propper milita force for 30k

Well. Basically finished.



122 if i counted correctly to be exact. Bushes and other bits like stone and barbed wire are as of yet missing but i have anyways some more building to do to make this a fully fledged 30k milita army.

Also, some of the personal highlights:

The rifle squads, basically only bulldogs from WGA and some greenstuff. Amazing kit.


Force commanders and banner.


More randomsquad members with iron masks


Even more random squad members.


Army shot soon incoming.

There maybe no scales but the rust and trenches are equally good! The militia looks great, some cool minis amongst their number too. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the bases too, guessing trench warfare? Coffee stirer for duck boards?

Anyways. Finishing what i started:

Very cool army shot! They look excellent. The Land Raiders and marine tanks look brilliant, nice work on the scales again!

The platoon is looking fantastic, great work on them! Love seeing the process for the scales, I was wondering how you managed them with contrast paints being the main colour. Underpainting was the obvious answer that I couldn’t see!

The free hand scales are great.

The guard army looks amazing, and the scales on the land raider look fantastic!

Well, actually if you are confident you should be able to overpaint aswell If you got a question how i do something just ask btw, i am always happy to help.

Vigilator and Sniper scouts left, right headhunter count as and saboteur.


Troops, Legionaires with full command and bajonetts. 2x, and 2 rhinos with full tool kit. The right squad has a better sergant and can stand in as Veterans with 2 meltas and apothecary support.

Grenadiers with 2 sniper rifles and sergant with boltgun.



Grenadiers that will get 2 PG's added in and run the vox to guide artillery.



As an aside i really like the new cadian kit with WGA helmets.

Can't believe the scale (lol ) of the work going on here mate. You have a very impressive motor!

Like the GS work under the helmets. Will look good all painted up!

anyways the one to your right has a very big smile, looking forward to painting that one.

Nothing special, just a bunch of Missiles and autocannons.

Those masks are creepy! They shall make a cool bunch of renegades.

The Alpha Legion are immense, the whole bunch look amazing! Alpharius AND Omegon would be very proud gene fathers!

Honestly, i am really proud for what i achieved with them. Especially since they are basically really easy to do. Something about that blue is just photogenic i suppose.
