Yes, true Count Zero, the war got very nasty as all wars do, and was a cruel and nasty thing with men so shattered as to be shot for cowardice, not all died to the enemy bullets. Yes, Nationalism and patriotism, how all early wars got started, all loyal subjects fought for King and Country. Better to have it all on mini tables IMHO!

since in between working sessions there happens to be kids running around and asking their father questions about tanks and yelling at each other, i have yet to find that frantically working rhythm that makes it not possible to take shots inbetween^^ so all has its benefits^^

Hey, war on the table top is just fun, but out in the fields and such it is hell!

the worst part of a war is not even the killing... the breaking of the still alive is the hardest i think... the dead are over the edge and it doen´t get worse then...i remember my granddad... russian warprisoner...he used to kick and punch in his sleep...talk about unresolved war trauma...the stuff he must have witnessed and even committed...at least i know for his stories that he wasn´t a nazi himself.. he even married my grandmother, who wore the yellow star in her youth...

But still forced to wear the uniform likely, But the war was also messy nasty business.

some family related events kept me away from doing work on my tank...some good some bad...hope i can do some work on it today...

Ah, RL taking over, have to deal with it, understood! Hopefully now you can relax some.

currently i await the mechanic that last week tried to mend our heater... last evening we had a total short-circuit fault of the heaters electronics... it did sound like a capuccinomachine^^ thankfully with its last breath we showered the children... so not much stink on them^^ have to be thankful for the small things in life...^^
unfortunatly that excluded my morning shower... i am only half the man without...

Aye , Our water is off now for pipe work , so stinky kids and stinky me on the way!

well if he actually arrives today...that is...but the heating under ideal conditions is quite fast...as i said ideal conditions...

sticky kids saves water... helps keeping the nature clean and protected...er...dirty kids help the enviroment? stuff ecology^^ i don´t want to be smelly and neither do i wnat smelly and sticky kids... eragh

When we were kids we sometimes had a bath in a zinc tub in front of the fire, scrubbed clean by mother. Hot water from the kettle.

Got a tad embarassing at the age of 15

But then it is how miners used to get cleaned in the good old days, pre mod cons and showers at the pit.

lol....i remember those times when i had to bath with my sister...hold your thoughts... we were still toddlers back then...
the only zinc tubs i still know of are mostly used nowadays for flowerpots^^

at chibi... we had again in the evening the noise of capuccino making...but withiout an actual shuttdown of the heater... guess it was over sensitivity...go figure...it´s what happens when you are dependend to tech and then the tech fails you...darn...


and to make it even worse i have to really motivate me tomorrow to get substantial work on the tank done...didn´t do jack today...again...that is now almost three days no work done on the tank...pretty slack if i say so myself...need a kick or two to get in gear again^^
