Buying exactly the parts you want in quantity is still waaay cheaper than buying sets most of the time. You can pick the lowest price in the quantity you want. It is a secondary marketplace. I bought 100 grey 1x1 round pieces for $5. People buy sets, then inventory them, sell the minifigs off to collectors (huge markups), then sell the other parts at pennies. Some people support their habit that way

and i must have stumbled recently over that sire you showed for playmos... i had to search for some additional pieces to go for our big BIG playmobil castle...it is now verging on the HUGE^^ and for that i had to make sure the parts number id... and i got it through that site^^

Brother, do I know what you mean. I was the kind that cataloged and counted by type size and color. I had a very autistic approach to it. Very OCD. I still have the fetish and am currently collecting as many Harry Potter sets as possible for my son's train table. I had to convert the Hogwarts Express to electric and am building a plaster mountain and Plasti-card Trellis Bridge and everything. We are waiting for some other sets to arrive before we finish it. It is going to be epic. I will link photos when it is done.

I once built a transforming Optimus Prime out of lego's. I was cutting and gluing pieces for days to make all the right movements and connections. Man I wish I had kept all those sets I had. I was very bad about not taking care of my toys. I guess thats why as an adult I have a toy obsession. HEHE, I love having children!!!!!!!

yep...children are so wonderful an excuse to go overboard with purchasing toys... my wife always makes a face when she sees the crowded room of our kids...stuffed to the ceiling with toys...

I am lucky, my wife insists on buying all four of her boys (we have three sons) as many toys as she can. I love her so much.....

was recently in the only artshop here in town i have yet found to sell foamcard... and coincidently they sold these range of legos too... didn´t knew why one would want them... but now i see... tastes might differ... for me that looks a bit like a 3D puzzle...so now i understand...

There is a Frank Lloyd Wright building in my hometown. It is beautiful. I have a Seattle Space Needle architecture set. It isn't as cool as the waterfall one above.

The Lego frank Loyd wright house is EPIC! apparently i heard it has a problem with damp that he never quite fixed !

I think that is a problem with flat roofing in this wet hemisphere in general, takes a lot of maintenance.

We are getting hit with a snowstorm right now believe it or not, for three days straight it has been raining nonstop. So there is flooding that is about to become freezing flooding covered with wet snow. That is why our roofing is mostly sloped here in Indiana.

Our winter is coming slower than we expected it to this year. Our "freak" snow storms keep passing us by. Not that I'm complaining!
