i always wanted to get my kids and me some of those berf guns... but the wife don´t really want guns at home...and nerf guns aren´t what one would call cheap^^...tho i admit they look cool and i bet they are quite effective... i watched quite some cool vids on yourtube staring various guns there...

Vik, go on ebay and/or play.com, you can get the Vortex range quite cheap these days, cheaper than most workshop stuff!

Well I got my Nerf Vortex: Vigilon from the uk ebay shop for £7.50. which is about 10Eur. which when the Vigilon retails for £20(25Eur), it was a bargain ^_^

and i need to test the market and see when the good tijmes are on ebay for such stuff... i bet there is a way into that^^

Small update:


I've gotten the other 15 bases of termagants painted up, so I can now start on the carapace. Yes i know, why would I paint the bases first? well the answer is simple, I'd gak them all up if i decided to do them last, so I have to work in reverse with them.

And finally, I have managed to get a hold of some Rogue Trader/ second edition era plastic Termagants as well as some third edition metal termagants. I bought them purely for nostalgia reasons, and will be a normal part of my army too. In addition to these, I have bought 2xVenomthropes and 2xHive Guard along with some Vallejo water effect.

So It seems I've had a more productive day than normal

Very true Vik... personally I think the starting price I've listed them as is a bit of a bargain, considering they are no longer in production.

hmmm I guess, but I honestly have no idea for cost for international shipping. and its something I have never done before.

well... make a test package of six GK and talk a walky to the local post office... but i bet it will be around three to six pounds depending on weight... way more for US postage tho...but you never know what an american buyer might flock out...

Just a little update, here's some examples for those of you that don't know/remember what 2nd ed and 3rd ed Termgants look like, but also, I include an image of 1st ed hunter-slayers too as I'm currently bidding on some on eBay

i once owned an old termagant of that edition... you have to get used anew to that look... but highly detailed nevertheless they were...

It's Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee this weekend (thats 60 years on the throne), I'm a royalist through and through.

I love the old Termagants, so hopefully once I've finished bidding on everything, I'll have at least another 20 termagants to add to the army.

60 years already... have a pint on her on my behalf then^^... i bet as things are developing she need to stay on throne for another decade at least... till someone is bron that is fit enough to wear the crown after her^^

I think I'm just going to mix and match the classic ones with the new. But there is still one tyranid left to find for the classic range to be complete... the "Proto-Nid" aka the holy grail of Tyranids. It was never released, but some still exist out there somewhere...
