*Hanna nods*

Hanna: That sounds good. B-but can you stay with me, Just to be safe?

*Wade nods*
DP: I'll be right next to ya.

*Hanna smiles at Wade and hugs him then heads off towards the main room*

Hanna: (What am I going to say? I don't really want to talk about myself, not that there is much to talk about... I guess... I guess I'll just... I don't know... At least here is much nicer than the. The lab...)

*Hanna's face saddens*

*Iris is sitting on a sofa, quietly waiting to speak with someone about a room and clothes*
*Iris smiles at Hanna as she enters*
Iris: Well hello there!


*Merg wakes, climbs stiffly out of the bathtub and goes to her proper bed to sleep without bothering with getting dressed*
*She's still pretty worn out from everything that's happened and has a very minor concussion from her collision with a tree via Denny*


*Morri and Cal are talking seriously*
Morri: We need to be out there helping, we can't just stay here and hide.
*Cal is hesitant to leave the kids behind cause no way are they putting them in danger but generally agrees with his wife*

*Hanna looks at Iris and squeaks*

*She quickly averts her eyes*

Hanna: (Why is she naked!) U-uh hello!

*Iris notices Hanna's embarrassment and smiles to herself*
*She crosses her legs and folds her arms over her chest*
Iris: I must apologize if I'm making you uncomfortable! I don't mean to, but I simply don't have anything to wear! It's been... a long couple weeks let's say...
*She smiles kindly*
Iris: My name is Iris, the Rainbow Goddess. What's your name?

*Hanna keeps her eyes averted*

Hanna: M-my name is Hanna! N-nice to m-meet you.

*Hanna looks back for a second then quickly turns away again*

*Iris bites her lip in annoyance at herself as while she's sometimes amused by people's embarrassment, she doesn't like making people uncomfortable*
Iris: Well, it's nice to meet you Hanna... I'm sorry, would you like me to leave? I don't want to make you uncomfortable... I could just step into the kitchen if you like.
*Smiles apologetically*

*Hanna doesn't look at Iris but shakes her head*

Hanna: N-no don't leave. I don't want you to leave for my benefit. I-I'll just go g-grab a blanket from my room or something! I-I'll be right back!

*Hanna turns to hurry off to her room*

*Iris nods and smiles*
Iris: That would be perfect! Thank you! A friend was going to get me a bedsheet but she went off and I haven't seen her back again.
*Waits patiently*

*Hanna walks back to her room and grabs a blanket off her bed and starts heading back to Iris*

Hanna: (This isn't so bad.)

*Once Hanna's back Iris gladly accepts the blanket and wraps it around her torso like one would a towel after a shower*
*She smiles brightly at Hanna*
Iris: Thank you Hanna! Glad I can stop embarrassing you. Are you new around here? I've not met you before, are you with the Imperium's people?

Hanna: Y-yes I'm n-new here...

*Hanna tilts her head*

Hanna: What's the Imperium?

*She taps one of her feet softly*

*Iris frowns*
Iris: Oohhhh... dear... Hm.. How to explain...
*She pats the couch next to her*
Iris: Why don't you sit down and I'll explain, okay?
*She smiles in a friendly manner and gives a pretty basic and actually non-biased rundown on the Imperium*
Iris: -and that's the Imperium. Personally, I don't agree with everything they do, but... I suppose if it's lasted 10,000 years it can't be all bad..

*Hanna took a seat down next to Iris and was quite taken back by her height but listened intently to her basic rundown of the Imperium*

Hanna: S-so the have people make into weapons?... I-I guess they do need to fight m-monsters...

*Iris nods sadly*
Iris: Yes... I can't stand to see people hurt... and those experiments they run are cruel... No person should be experimented on, ever. It's... evil.
*She seems very firm in that belief then smiles weakly at Hanna*
Iris: So what about you? Where are you from?
*Smiles kindly*

*Hanna clenches her fists and twitches a few times as Iris talks*

*She then pauses for a second when Iris asks where she's from

Hanna: I don't want to talk about it!... I-I mean... C-can we p-please not talk a-about it?

*Iris nods and smiles gently*
Iris: Of course, if you don't want to talk about it, I certainly won't press the matter. Why don't I just tell you where I'm from?
*Attempts to sooth Hanna with tales of the wonders of Danu Talis and her upbringing*

*Hanna sits and listens to Iris's stories*

*Hanna thinks of her upbringing in contrast to Iris's*

Hanna: That sounds wonderful. You must have been very h-happy.

*Iris smiles at the fond memories*
Iris: Yes... yes that was a happy time... I hope for more in the future!
*She puts a hand on Hanna's shoulder and squeezes gently while smiling down at her*

*Hanna's shoulder feels rock hard*

*She flinches at Iris touching her, but manages to smile up at her*

*Iris is slightly surprised at Hanna's firm shoulder and quickly lets go at the flinch*
Iris: (Like Horus...) Sorry! Sorry!
*Smiles apologetically*
Iris: I'm just... a big of a physical person. Hugs over handshakes and that sort of thing.
*Smiles down at Hanna a little sheepishly*

Hanna: N-no its fine. I'm j-just a little jumpy.

*Hanna gets off the couch*

Hanna: I'm going to go grab a drink, would you like o-one?

*Iris nods sympathetically*
Iris: I can understand that... Well I hope I can help you past that then!
*Smiles kindly and doesn't press the matter*
Iris: Yes please, if you don't mind!


*Merg wakes up, dresses and goes to the kitchen for some food*
*Looks pretty scruffy and grumpy still as she rummages for grub*

Hanna: What would you like to drink?

*Hanna's smile slowly fades away*

*Maria smiles and heads back*
Oh I went to get you a sheet... Never mind.

The coffee ... Well.. Its strong...not much else.
*waves to hanna*
Hey there. Welcome.

*Furia noticed merg and tenses slightly knowing how she acted round her people*
*sat eating a ration biscuit as hungry but she don,t like it, as it aint nice biscuit*

*looks confused at the coffee that came with meal*

*notices Hanna too and greets her*

*The cactus in the corner adjusts its disguise*

*Merg looks over at Furia*
Merg: Ale? I wish. Nothing but water and coffee.


*Iris smiles*
Iris: Coffee will be fine, thank you Hanna!


*Morgan groans and sits up, rubbing the heels of his hands into his eyes*
Morgan: Oog... what day is it?

Quick rundown, Iris is my avatar. 7ft tall suuuuper fine lady currently wrapped in a blanket on the couch.
Mergoux (Merg) is a heavily tattooed half-elf warrior and a pretty nasty person
Morgan is elsewhere at the moment, in another room but he basically looks human. Tall, dark and muscular from working as a blacksmith

OOC: Probably won't be contributing much, but was catching up on the recent goings on and wanted to figure out what the procedure for entry was without breaking the flow too much.
