Hanna: I-I think so... I'm n-not sure...

*She smiles weakly*

*Iris thinks for a moment the gets up, grabs a ration packet and sets it down infront of Hanna*
Iris: The letters on the front, can you read them?

*Hanna looks at them for a sec*

Hanna: Ration pack? Is that right?

*Iris nods and smiles*
Iris: Good! Well at least that part's solved. Now we just have to find something worth reading... I doubt Imperial Assassin's keep any Dicken's or Rowling around here... Come with me, we'll see if we can't find something for you to read that's a bit more interesting that a food label.
*She gets up, offers her hand to Hanna and goes to look for a book or magazine or just something*

*Eventually she reaches Merg's room and knocks*
*Merg looks sharply over at the door and quickly dons a shirt, as she was looking at her back tattoo again, and answers the door*
Merg: What?
*Iris isn't at all taken aback by Merg's gruffness and smiles disarmingly*
Iris: We where wondering if you had anything we might borrow to read.
*Merg looks between Iris and Hanna and shrugs*
Merg: I do, but I don't know if it'll interest you. Mostly what I've got is useless old spellbooks, couple of histories, a few religious texts. Basically whatever I've come across while traveling. I'll let you borrow a few, hell you can just keep them. I've no use for the things.
*She turns and makes a gesture for them to follow as she moves over to the bed, lifts her bag onto it and starts pulling out books.
While they're mostly what she said they were, there's also a few novels in the mix. Harry Potter book 4, a Star Wars Novel, Dune, and 4 Terry Pratchet books

*Baal lets out some low form of laughing, echoing across the entire forest*
*He then eventually stops, and turns his head*
Baal: It seems as though attempting to meet you was a fools idea. I serve no-one. Including you, false god.
*He laughs again, then fades off into the wind, literally turning to dust*

*Hanna looks at the books and back up at Iris*

Hanna: ...

*Iris blinks as Mergoux watches impatiently*
Iris: I think we'll just take these...
*She takes the novels and quickly scoots out with Hanna*
Iris: Alright Hanna, do you know what a Novel is? It's a book, that tells you a story when you read it. Usually the stories are make believe though. Do any of them look interesting?
*She goes to the main room and lays them out for Hanna to look over*


*All Thoth is getting is a sense of stress, fear and pain from Calluna, but can't really trace it*


*Calluna getting magicked up*

*Hanna thinks for a second then grabs the star wars novel*

Hanna: I think I-I'll start with this one.

*Iris smiles as per usual and takes Dune*
Iris: Alright Hanna. Then I hope you picked a good one! I'll be just over here if you need anything

*Goes and sits on a sofa then starts reading. She seems to read inhumanly fast, flipping a page every 20 seconds or so*


*Merg puts away what books they didn't take and goes back to working out*

*Hanna starts reading and is very intrigued by the book*

*She gets so emerged in the book she bites her thumb off without thinking about it*

*It makes a horrid wet crunch*

*Marilania smiles at the whole interests conversation earlier*

Iris, if you in super lucky moment (aka impossible at base) find a swimming pool... Please tell me. I have not had a good chance in weeks.

*goes to find Dira, first at room and then maybe the quieter spots about the base like outside and the chapel etc *
*goes as genuinely wanted to make sure she was holding up*

*Iris jumps at the crunch and looks over with a look of horroe on her face*
Iris: Hanna? Hanna! Hanna what happened?!
*She rushes over to Hanna, aura flaring to life to try and heal the wound*

*Hanna looks up at Iris then at her thumb*

Hanna: O-oh no! I-I-I ummm!... (Oh no. oh no. oh no...)

*She watches her thumb heal back really fast thanks to Iris's help*

*Doesn't really know what to say*

*Iris looks at Hanna's thumb regrow, shock evident on her face, then looks up at Hanna*
Iris: Hanna...? What happened...?
*She looks down at the thumb again then back at Hanna a few times*
Iris: Y-your thumb?

Seems my post got jumped by a mile and mostly redundant .

*looks shocked hearing sound and as it regrows*
That's... Not normal. I mean a few can regrow limbs here...

*sits down as this ain't exactly normal *

*Hanna Looks at Iris and Maril*

*Concern is written all over her face*

*Hanna makes a sad sound then pulls Iris's down so she can whisper in her ear*

Hanna: I-I don't k-know why... B-but I n-need to eat p-p-people...

*Iris can't suppress a small gasp but instantly wraps Hanna in a hug*
Iris: Oh... Oh my dear...
*She shoots Maril a look to back off so that she can talk with Hanna more privately*
Iris How long have you been... hurting.. yourself for this reason?

*Hanna sinks a little*

Hannd: E-ever since I g-got here... I-it's better than hurting someone else...

*Iris feels more sorry for Hanna than she has for possibly any other individual ever*
Iris: Is there... anything... anything, I could do?

*Hanna shakes her head*

*Hanna looks a little sad*

*She gives Iris a hug*

*Iris hugs Hanna tightly*
Iris: Oh Hanna... I supposed Wade was helping you with this before as well?

Hanna: Y-yes... He w-was...

*Hanna continues hugging Iris*

*Iris sighs sadly*
Iris: Well then we need to find him... You can't just keep auto-cannibalizing yourself like this...
*Doesn't relinquish the hug either*
Iris: What about normal food? Does it even do anything for you?
