*She then blinks over to Taeria, and starts to try to heal her with magic.*

*Milo gets clocked and slips a bit further towards death*

*Taldeer screams half in terror and half in grief/pain/rage and arcs of lightning shoot out from her body and begin hitting anything nearby with terribly painful shocks*

*she gets hurled, but her momentum is halted suddenly as she begins levitating in mind-air as the storm begins to build*

*Hrorki gets clocked too and nearly falls over*

*A lighting bolt hits Taeria and clocks for the last time*

*Irilis looks out the Chimera's driver's door's window, and sees an enormous cloud of nuclear fallout*

OOC: Far as I can tell, it's in a previous room, but on the same world. Presumably close enough to threaten the new room and Hrorki and Irilis' expedition with fallout.

*Irilis has now figured out control co-ordination, and moves off at high speed, still going for the armoury, which is thankfully the opposite direction to the fallout*

What the hell happened?

*Ciri's eyes fill with energy tears, as she watches Taeria get struck with lighting, and (OOC: fething) dies.*
*She gets struck as well, but it seems to only phase her for a moment. She onlylooks down at Taeria, and shakes her head unwilling to accept such a tragic loss. Utter rage fuels her, and she looks over at Taldeer, and screams a scream of sorrow that shatters minds.*
*Then time stops, at least for Ciri.*
*She flashes over to Taldeer, the aerondight blade in hand, and stabs her thousands of times for killing her beloved.*
*Her body erupts in flames, and her scars burn with unnatural light while she does this. On top of that she seems to still be screaming.*
*All this in a matter of seconds.*

*Vitani screams in pain as she feels a bit of life slip out of her body*
Vitani: Stupid Taeria! You've weakened me! Stay dead!

*Hanna looks up at Vitani*

Hanna: W-what?

Vitani: That weakling, she.. ARGH... that idiot just died!
*Vitani growls and restrains herseld from going into ghoul mode*

*Taldeer gets absolutely destroyed, but just before she dies she manages to increase the Eldritch Storm's power and drops it right on top of Ciri's head, shocking the ever loving crap out of her and engulfing her in raw power*

*Hrorki glances toward Irilis*
I may be wrong, but that looks to have been a nuclear detonation. What exactly exploded though I am not sure, the explosion appears to have come from the direction of the Room though.
*he shakes his head and sighs*

*Hanna looks saddened*

*Hanna looks at the bit of blank (probs dropped it)*

*Irilis keeps driving, now along a huge unpopulated rockcrete highway*

It's not planet-killer ordnance, but that usually kills things that think they are unkillable.

Shall we still head to the Mechanicus Foundry?

So far as I know no-one really died in the blast themselves. They may have been knocked down by the blast, but I don't think anyone died to it itself. Taldeer died to Hurricane Ciri, and Ciri just got an Eldritch Storm dumped on her head, but the nuke itself didn't do much I think.

*Hrorki nods*
If they're detonating that sort of weapon that usually means that things are getting bad. We should try to pick up the pace though, I have a bad feeling about this my beard itches with trouble.

OOC Taeria died from a lightning strike when Taldeer was mad.
Vitani: It.. is flesh.. eat it.

*Ciri get's hit with the bolt, and collapses from the utter shock of the attack.*
*Her aura and body still burns with energy cause the earth around her to catch on fire.*
*She lay there burning, but at least out cold for the time being.*

OOC: Okay so the blast was at the old room, which is a good distance away from the new room. Now in Yuki's little sanctum, there is a eldritch storm going on. All in all, the violator, and Verdai got taken in the blast. Hrorki and Irilis got shaken from the blast sense they were relatively close to it. And the agony of Verdai dying caused Taldeer to become very sad, so she cast a eldritch storm that killed Tae.

*Hanna looks at Vitani then back at the blank*

*She slowly moves over to it and pulls a small piece off*

*She eats it and her left eye instantly goes black and red, and a smile explodes onto Hanna's face*

*Crystal wings burst from in between her shoulder blades, narrowly missing her backpack. The seem to vibrate with joy as Hanna digs into the blank*

*Irilis' driving is far from smooth, and every uneven part of the road results in the Chimera jumping up and down like someone had fitted an active beatbox to it*

*one pothole causes an enormous crunching sound, and causes the Chimera to gain some air*

OOF! I do not know how far from that blast "safety" is, but this vehicle will not take much more of my driving...

*On the horizon, an enormous Hive City begins to loom*

*Hrorki doesn't really feel all of the discomfort from the bumping as his power armor is absorbing a ton of the force*
*He is still really not enjoying this ride*
*He opts to not say anything, as irritating the driver is a bad idea in most situations*
We are probably far enough away now, but to be safe we should probably keep going.

Space Wolf, do hive cities on this planet keep their void shields down as a matter of course?

Most Hive Cities do not put up their void shields unless they are under active threat of being bombarded or otherwise attacked from orbit, whether that be by enemy fire or by asteroids or orbital debris.

*Irilis shows concern in her voice*

*The Hive City is just visibly surrounded by a light-purple energy field, crackling with energy*

We should be ok to pass through simply because we are not moving fast enough for the shields to repel us. Void shields are designed to deflect and absorb fast moving missiles and other objects, our lower speed SHOULD ensure that we can make it through just fine.

*A shadow unfurls across the sand, and a great intelligence gazes upon Verdai, invisible lest its visage drive the world mad*
