Time. I've got plenty of models and am fortunate enough to have a couple of bucks laying around to buy more if I need them, but school keeps me extremely busy.

Money, definitely. Being a poor student I almost never have any spare money whatsoever. Haven't bought any models since October last year.

Time, trying to juggle work, spending time with my partner, doing things that need doing around the house and yard, sleeping and then trying to find time for myself and my hobby! it's a struggle I tell you, but I try and take 10 days off a year by myself to do what i want to do! and this year that time starts in only one more shift at work :-)

I voted time, but there are a couple other factors too. Location/space is probably second, with lack of people at third.

Yeah, it's pretty hectic here in Australia as well $55 dollars for 5 normal Grey Knights, $62 for a Tactical Squad, $102 or something for a Valkyrie/ LR/ Battlewagon. Not time yet but soon I'll start getting homework by the truckload

I just don't have enough time to play very often... What I love about this hobby is that you don't have to though, and I can still enjoy it a lot without being a "regular".
Of course, money is also an issue, but I think it just comes down to prioritization...

Money for sure. I would love to start a raider heavy DE army.
Location. I live in Hong Kong so theres only one shop and its definitely not the best shop in the world (they charge you to play on "higher quality" tables which are the same quality table of any shop in america.
Also the demographic of people who go to the shop. Mostly middle aged locals who play fantasy. I'm lucky to find anyone around my age coming to the store to play some 40k.

I would say money, but i buy things even if i have none.
Main issue for me is the time it takes me to paint. A few hours to paint a squad and i simple do not have to time anymore :(. Think it will take me about 12 months to paint my current army fully.

Thing is, got no space left. Got all my minis out on the table, and there's no room for anything except arranging them all beautifully. Yet I still keep buying more.

Time? What time? When you are a college student trying to survive the rigors of tests and reading and the like, there is either "time to study" or "time to go to class" and perhaps some eating and sleeping somewhere in between.
In all of seriousness, it's a combination of time and money. Mostly time, I simply don't have enough of it until summer or winter break to assemble and paint models.
