Love the models I ordered two sets, after the fact I read over this guy's feedback, his % is 77!

Not sure how Ebay lets a seller stay on there with 15 negative feedbacks in one month. I have opened a dispute and will get my money back....

Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!

That's a shame, those are probably the best looking models for Cavalry I've seen thus far.

They immediately began performing much better.

Hey guys,

Found this thread while googling Mythicast, and I'm glad I got here. I'm really sorry for whatever inconvenience our previous retailer jeanwulf2k had caused. Rest assured we now have stricter polices for distributors and retailers so this may never happen again.

You may be wondering why we're missing in Ebay. We've recently set up our own online shop at http://www.mythicast.com so we can talk to our clients directly, with faster transactions overall and cheaper cost, since we're not paying additional fees for a space in Ebay. We're still able to process orders here, so we hope you'll drop by and see what's new.

I'm glad the guys who previously ordered from us are happy with their models. Thanks again!

Just to chime in here, the Mythicast team took up the slack from jeanwulf2k and got me the three sets of their Thunderwolves that I'd bought from jeanwulf2k but which he never sent. It's one data point, but they took care of me...

RE: Mythicast

I've heard in dozens of places how they merely switched names (to escape awful ebay ratings) so they BETTER take care of you!

As far as completely non-GW models go, why not go for the less expensive option? D&D has wolves of various types which work fine, and they cost between 4-12 bucks a wolf, depending on the model. Which is great, especially if you plan on switching over to the GW version when they come out.

while i'm glad that mythicast is trying to make up for the jeanwulf2k ebay debacle with cygnnus, i doubt that they stopped ebay sales voluntarily only to better communicate with their clients as posted above. their ebay account is listed as no longer registered which 99% of the time means ebay booted them off (possibly they thought they were the same person as jeanwulf2k opening a second account) and they already had 1 neutral rating for a product not yet recieved out of a total of 8 feedback.

alexandra/mythicast, don't get me wrong.. you make a kick ass looking product (as i stated above, the best looking TWC i've seen around) but your products have a legacy of fraud associated with them due to jeanwulf... i wish you luck with that with correcting that because it's going to be an uphill battle. if i ever get around to making space wolves, i'll look you guys up again to see if you're still taking good care of your customers.

to potential buyers, remember that paypal has a 45 day limit on when you can file a dispute for an item paid for and that limit is VERY close to the upper end of mythicast's shipping estimate to the US (6 weeks = 42 days).

After a quick search, each of these models are in stock in a few places for 6 bucks each. I think it is time for me to finally get into thunderwolves...

I ordered 10 of the Mythicast wolves and they were shipped to me within two weeks. And they included the new Iron Priest mount they had been working on and 10 scenic bases. And a full Cyberwolf complement.

The wolves themselves are great- lovelly sculpts with very few casting errors (a small bubble here or there- maybe 2 minutes with some greenstuff or similar putty took care of everything). Assembly is easy and takes minimal trimming. I would say overall comparable to the quality of my new Forgeworld venerable SW dread.

I highly recommend them.

Though it's unfortunate, you're right about being associated with fraud. But the only thing left for us to do here is pick up the pieces because we do believe in our products, even if the company made bad decisions in the past that resulted to our losses. It's only my word you have here and that may not be enough, but right now it's the only thing that I can offer aside from the track record we've had around mid July, when I took measures to control the damages and get the e-commerce back on its feet. That may not be enough yet, since it's such a short time, but I'm happy to say that we've had customers since that time and they've all been satisfied. I hope the good record we continue to establish will eventually change the skeptics' minds.

I was actually brought in to the team for that very reason, because of the problems Mythicast was encountering with their retailer and handling online orders. It was my idea to just set up shop on our own. It's easier to handle and look after, for me, since, admittedly, I've never operated on Ebay. Besides, as you've said, jeanwulf2k already did a good job of ruining our rep, you're right that any other accounts we'd attempt to open there just may end up associated with him. The best decision for us was to start with a clean slate.

And in case anyone's worrying if I may end up being like jeanwulf2k, don't. Because I am related to the not-so-internet-savvy manufacturers, so at this point, we're handling things directly until I can trust someone else to do the job (which, in my estimate, won't be for a long time).

Thanks for the input, though! We need to hear things like that so we'll know what we're dealing with.

I have 10 Jeanwulf/Mithicast wolves I just received this week.

Although they are very nice sculpts, the casting is pretty sub-par. They also appear to have some sort of coating on them. I noticed it when I began the arduous task of cleaning up the odd contours and bumps all over the rider legs. I really hope it's not lead based paint.

Not terribly impressed at the moment, but am hopeful that with some work and paint they will be nice.

Definitely not worth the 3 month wait though.

I have made 2 orders from Mythicast at this point, and was very happy with both of them. I now own 16 Thunder-Wolves and 4 cyber wolves that are just this side of incredible. I had no issues with shipping even though I went through their ebay account (I purchased them just after they got everything straightened out).

So I ordered D&D Vampire Dire Wolves. For people who have used them, what legs do you use on your marine? Anything specific, like a particular set of marine legs that is wider?

I'll throw this out to people in general. What marine legs do you guys use for your TWC?

I have been looking at Thunderwolf options since the new codex came out and the Mythicast def look the best and are the best sized models as well. Tried to obtain them through ebay, and guess what i never ever received them but I did get the payment refunded so no harm done apart from all the time I wasted rushing to the front door everytime the post man turned up for 6 weeks+. Tempted to take a punt via the new Mythicast site, payment still via Pal pal so should be able to make a claim if any probs. Will post my experience on this thread so anyone interested can see just how reliable the new Mythicast set up is. I noticed some good experiences so sounds promising?! If anyone else has experience of their new site please let us know.

With a Gummy Bear on its back, yes...

More seriously, I think some of the other poses make it look at bit better. But that said, there are no wolves on Fenris, right? So perhaps it's actually a secret alliance between the Blood Angels and the Space Wolves to allow the Puppies to ride mutant Wolf-Bats! In exchange, the Bloodies get sole dibs on any armor with nipples on it...

woah those masq-mini thunderwolves are pretty damn fine sculpts, the detail is awesome, nice find cygnnus, however I'm personally still not sure they are big enough. Worth another look once there are more variations to look at maybe. Just got my paws on a couple of the Mythicast Thunderwolves and while the sculpts are not the best I have seen, the Pose, size and the character of the models are fantastic and for my money make them the best Thunderwolves on the market. It is worth noting that I obtained them from ebay NOT via Mythicast! I do intend to order from them but still concerned over the ebay problems they had. The mythicast TW,s are so much bigger and better than the max mini ones I bought first. Just need to get some more now. Risky to UK??
