Went with the super Space Viking who named my tanks. (Can't have a *Blank* tank or a Demolisher or a Punisher, it demands a prefix!) Very close second was Space Genghis Khan. Counter-attacks on the Earth space ports were incredibly important in deciding the battle for the Emperor's Palace. Any White Scars are cool... Sanguinius AT THE TOP? Wha?

I don't play as much as I could. I blame society! And ninjas
Wehrkind: "Nah, see he yells the order, and when everyone looks at him and say "What?" he grabs the vox, hits a guy with it and screams "CAN YOU HEAR MY NOW?!" into the mouth piece. Works like a charm "
Funny thing to do on L4D [if you own the server] Bind the tank music to a key, then at quiet moments press it and start firing like mad at something behind your team whilst screaming 'tank' on voice comms. |

I liked Magnus for pretty much the same reasons as have already been posted. He got a pretty bum deal. He was just trying to help. That's pretty noble and selfless what got him turned traitor, he didn't want to he was kind of forced into it from what I understand.

Why don't you guys choose Horus???I voted for Horus. Why don't you like him.He was the greatest warmaster of all times. If you read Horus rising and galaxy in flames you will understand that If Horus wasn't wounded by anafem he wouldn't become a heretic.Look at imperium now, it is doomed. It has no leader.

I'll agree that Magnus was trying to help, BUT, the Emperor warned him against sorcery for the very reasons which ended up burning him!
Magnus WAS tricked by Tzeentch.
He bargained with powers he actually did NOT have an understanding of!
Of course, this made more sense before GW/ BL changed the fluff from the correct banning of sorcery to the incorrect banning of sorcery and ALL psykers.
Now, it doesn't make much sense...

Speaking of daemon primarchs, what do they actually do in the warp nowadays? Cause according to the fluff they pretty much never leave their worlds in the warp (last time was the first battle for armageddon.. and we all know how well that went for Angron.. god he was useless - the Imperium did more damage to the people fighting for and living on Armageddon than he did!).
Well now, let's theorize;
Magnus has probably spent 10,000 years reading every single book ever created.
Mortarion is just living on his planet that is completely dedicated to nurgle, and he isn't really doing anything at all.
Angron is probably still sad after getting banished by one lowly grey knight hero. (Also because he was banished for quite awhile..)
Lorgar became more powerful and then went to his room to have a think for thousands of years.
In all seriousness, does anyone know exactly what the daemon primarchs are planning? (If anything?)

You missed Fulgrim. He's probably having a pretty good time partying.
As I understand it, time doesn't really make sense in the warp, so...
@Darkvoid... maybe they are all just planning their next black crusade invasion into the material universe and what may be some months of 'their time' might turn out to be another thousand years of 'our time', like a reverse Narnia where nobody gets old and, instead of coming out ten minutes later, you come out ageless and 1000 years later. That's my guess as to what these guys spend their warped time doing. Yeah Magnus was probably doing a lot of reading, Angron doing a lot of raging about angry, Mortarion lazing around on a couch and rotting, and Fulgrim partying in their off time.

Yeah I missed Fulgrim. But is it really such a terrible mistake? I mean, it is Fulgrim we're talking about, which is strange in itself.
Anyway, time may be messed up in the warp (which it most certainly is), I do believe that anything that goes into the warp from outside it will experience time in a similar manner - they just won't age (physically).. or depending on how the Big Four are feeling, you might turn into an old man. Either way, CSMs from the heresy are still over 10,000 years old - they just don't experience it in the same way. Or something. I dunno. Tell you what, I'll turn renegade, go ask the Dark Gods about it, then go back to Saturn and tell the Inquisition all about my experiences - I'm sure they'll be more than willing to listen to me.. after all, I'd have turned renegade for them.

Rogal Fething Dorn! The man is a legend and will always be remembered as the defender of Terra. If it wasn't for his marines and his knowledge of defences the palace would have fell, but with the blood of his brothers they held the enemy back. The Imperium would be so much better off if they still had Legions instead of chapters. 10,000 marines can do much more than 1,000 marines. Even if Horus wasn't killed by the Emperor, Rogal Dorn would have torn Horus to peices on his ship. DORN FTW!!
