Ok, so in light of all the 'favourite [insert 40k thing]' threads, I thought we should do a favourite Primarch one. This is not a which is the best thread, it's a which is your favourite so no trolly "well my primarch could beat your primarch in a fight..."
So then, vote in the poll and post your reason.

Too hard, in a way, atleast for me. But then again, I don't know particularly much about the primarchs.

If I did vote (Which I did not), it'd have come down to:
Dorn
Vulkan
Magnus
Perturabo

What makes the Primarchs the most is their personalities. Magnus and Perturabo for instance, both utterly loyal, allong with their legions. But in the end, it was the Emperor that got them turned. Emperor let his puppies out on one-eye, and Perturabo and his legion were just "extra's" in all of the legends and records, even though they performed most of the masterminding and executioning of wars when involved in joint operations with other legions. Infact, they were spread so thinly, the Iron Warriors just became depressed and bored, and angry for just being a garrison force and a siege tool for the other legions. Such tragic betrayel, in both cases.

Vulkan, I've forgotten why I like him. Something to do with him hunting giant lizards or something .

Dorn, he just kinda went berzerk trying to kill Perturabo after the heresy.. screwed his mind up a bit, lost thousands of marines. He was just so stubborn, angry and blind with rage, and was clinging desperately to thoughts of revenge, even though they were all futile. Anyway, I'll let you read the rest of the fluff for yourself, should you wish, Ludd.

Alpharius. I like Salamanders more, but Vulkan never gets enough face time in the background material.

Oh yeah, I've picked Mortarion, I've just started reading flight of the eisenstein (no spoilers please) and in my mind, you can't beat super mega ninja scythes/ drinking poison

The Lion. Something about hunting warp-tainted beats and being martially gifted yet horrible with people is something I love.

I voted Morty to maintain some consistency, but I appreciate Alpharius Omegon's philosophies and tactics.

Mortarion is basically the Grim Reaper with a frickin' ray-gun however.

I'll go for the unpopular choice and say Guilliman because he held the Imperium together in its darkest hour.

My faves are Lion El Jonson, Perturabo and Mortarion. I have no idea why they're my faves I just like them more than the others.

I love Night Haunter. He blew up his own planet, went insane, and then accepted his own failures and had himself killed by someone he could easily take. He is, I have to say, kind of a big deal.

Even though I may be ticked off that he took the place of the best Guardsman ever (Forgot the name, I believe he was a guardsman who came onto Horus' Battle Barge with the Emprah, and died attempting to save Empy from Horus. Then it became some Honor Guard Spess Mehren, then a Primarch. THANKS GW)

Fulgrim is my Fave because in a way he is not a traitor. he was just possessed. In the HH books, Fulgrim Didn't know what was happening in tell it was to late. So maybe Pree Heresy Fulgrim.
