Fortunately every extra day I work is roughly $230, so one or two days a month will keep me up to my elbows in models. *clink* BRILLIANT!

Dont let it get you down Sebastion. Just do what the orks do. Find some unsuspecting 'umie and loot his stuff. Or my favorite place to get suff, besides Artsoldier35, is ebay. If you can pay close attention to when the bids are closing you can get some nice stuff for uber cheap. I've got 3 killa kan off there minus legs and ranged weapons for $5 for the lot. Also have gotten this a few times, the storm boy arms for 99 cents. So its a cheap way to get bitz just have to have patience.

Also, I have been working for this company for 5 years, and the company I work for is a pretty big company. I also have to work a 12 hour shift in order to get that. My job is basically weight lifting for 12 hours so by the time I am done working my arms are so sore I can hardly lift a paintbrush. I did a shift last night and worked for basically 2 people, I think I ripped and sprained at least 2 muscles in every part of my body. on the plus side I could also bench press a gaming table while we play.

Oh yea well I can drink milk threw my nose.... not really......

welcome to the party Kracker, it's unusual for me to beat you into an Ork blog thread.

Anyways, yeah i use Ebay alot, that's how i acquired over 3/4 of my Eldar. I also have a fair few fav bit sites that i use there quite often. the only problem i have now is that since i work second shift, it tends to take me away from Ebay during the time that most auctions end, but as you said patience is the key, and so i just try, try again.

Thanks KingCracker for becoming a fan. Yeah, I put together a Brazen Klaw ork for my cybork Meganob squad. Won't get a chance to paint him till tomorrow night, last shift of the 5. Think I have pulled both of my biceps. I will be working on the radar dish for the saucer too. I've got it all mapped out in my head, I think I have all the materials, now all I need to do is put it together, then I can finish painting and get the base done. Hopefully I will have some more to post before Friday when I head to Florida for a weekend of relaxation. Anyways, thanks for staying involved and interested in my thread, time to get ready for work.

Figured the PK and slugga combo was a fail safe. If that doesn't work, I have one with a big choppa you might like as well. Let me know, I can make one in any fashion you like. Plus these are the vintage metal nobz from the previous edition of orks. I got a good bit of them off a guy at the local hobby shop. I don't give them out normally, but for you, I would make the exception.

Thanks for subscribing. Your swap program has really seemed to catch on. Interesting idea. FInally got the plsticard cut for the Radar dish for the saucer. Took forever to figure out, but I think I have it. Should be kind big when I am done, but well worth it. I'll keep you all posted as I work.

After seeing your Brazen Klaw Mega Nob I have had many ideas running in my brain pan on how to do yours. I'm sticking with the arm from earlier and have started on the pk. Post a pic when I get more done. I kinda take the same painting habits as monkeytroll..... I'm slow at it. But I will be working on youor while I work on prime12357's komando boy for the GMS. A brilliant idea that Whalemusic360 started. I toss in some extra bitz your might need for fun that might help you with your conversion when I mail out your package.

Thanks Schank. Sorry, didn't realize someone else started the GMS, thought it was Art. That is cool. Only other thing I need to find and I know it is here somewhere is the Mekboy chest that came with the Lootas/Burnas box. Wanted to use the bare chest with chain wrapped around it and stitches for my Orkenstein conversion. Can't wait to start that. Well, in the meantime everything is being put on hold. Taking a nice trip to FL. to visit my sis and family from England. She works for a Carnival Cruise line and got them a free ride on her boat as well as my parents. See you all when I get back after the weekend. Time to soak up some sun to go with this buff bod.

Well, I am back and I have been working on my saucer. The arm and radar dish for the lifta droppa is almost complete. I keep hitting ruts and snags though. Shouldn't be too much longer. I also added an unbelievable amount of spikes to the outer rim. I wanted it to look more orky and lethal. This means I will have to repaint it, but I need to anyway since my air compressor for my spray gun went on the fritz. Gonna borrow my brothers and really give it a good airbrush. Already have an electrician looking into LED arrangements for the "Trakta Beam". Dug up 2 squigs to paint like cows. Have a week off from work starting Friday. Mork willing I will be finished with it and can move on to Waaaghzilla or painting some squad members.

This thing sounds more epic the more you talk about it. Any chance we'll get a WIP shot?

I have never seen and Ork saucer before, which makes me said since it's such a great idea.

A most epic creation! Those spikes really make a difference to Orkify the saucer. I can't wait to see it as it improves. The beam kinda looks like an Orky bird-feeder at the moment.
