Character: Mikal
Location: Manor
Situation: Making mission preparations
Mikal nods as he sees the general idea behind the defense of the outpost. It was solid guard logic that covering all angles of attack with munitions would significantly slow an attacker down. Given the crude nature of under hive gang warfare, Mikal was willing to to conceded that the mines would be adequate.
"Yes, yes, these should do fine, and as for the matter of the fourth direction, it should be simple enough to cover that area. The surveillance systems I plan on using consists of these." Mikal then produces his own slate and pulls up a frontal image of a servo skull.
"Obviously they will be equipped with a number of audio-visual recording, and cloaking devices but I do have an idea on how some of them can be used for the base's defense. Now, servo skulls are usually not used in this manner, but if past experience serves me well, they will work as well here."
Mikal looks again to Wilson's display. "The skulls can be slaved to do a variety of things, controlling weapons being on of them, if we can get our hands on one or two heavy bolters or weapons of the like, I can create a control interface for the skulls to use said weapons in defense of our retreat direction based on proximity detectors. This would free our team members for other duties and if my calculations are correct it may increase our chances of success by as much as forty seven percent."
Mikal then looks back to Wilson. "I believe that would give any hostile combatants pause for thought."

Yes, abhumans are tolerated to some extent in the Imperium (Ogryns and Ratlings, plus mutant slavery, is case in point). But not by the Ordo Hereticus. The Ordo Hereticus is far, far more likely to destroy their kind on sight than recruit them. Hell, some members of the Hereticus have the same attitude with psykers.
You definitely should have mentioned such a feature in your character post. For the same reasons that I would not accept Chowderhead's deamonhost character I'm going to have to ask you to drop that part of your character. It does not fit the nature of an inquisitorial retinue of the Ordo Hereticus at all.
Also, cherubim are vat grown, turned into servitors.

OOC: The point is, Space Marines are genetically enhanced by the Emperor, nobody in the Imperium will dare question something that the Emperor sanctioned himself (unless they went crazy and decided to live in the eye of terror) and Cherubs are more like small space robots in the shape of a cherub than a mutant. Anyway, since your mutation isn't officially sanctioned by the Imperium and it's the task of the Ordo Hereticus to root out mutation and purge it, your character is pretty much obliged to die [and your homeworld subjected to Exterminatus] because the purity of mankind has been corrupted so to speak.

OOC: Precisely. Certain abhumans, such as ratlings and Ogryns, are tolerated barely, but the Ordo Hereticus would definitely not tolerate a race of beast-people. They wouldn't even allow them to exist as slaves (which some Imperial officials might), they would have the planet put to the torch.
There is not going to be a cat-lady on Team Fury, and this should have been suggested either via PM or in your profile rather thn revealed now.

Gaz like the Inquisitor, she was powerful and demanded respect, not he was going to show her much. Gaz had never really shown and officers or and ranking officials much respect.
You kind of asked this after everyone had aleadry been dismissed (including Aajz), and team members were now making preperations. If I answered it that would break up the continuity of the story, I just thought you'd realise it after you read the previous posts. If something similar happens in the future (you miss the chance, but still want to ask a question) PM me.

Pyromaniac Hellhound Pilot

Character: Slavro, Kelly, Flick, Murphy
Location: Landing pad
Situation: Waiting on the company
Kelly is a tough, resourceful warrior. As one would expect of a Catachan. He wore his red bandannaover his standard issue helmet. His only reminder of a life long gone. He packed his heavy stubber, along with a vast amount of ammo into the back of the Valkyrie.
'We're only observing Kell, pray you wont be needing that' said Slavro as he threw his bandoliers over his shouldars.
Kelly smiled 'Never know sarge, can't rely on fething Astratus'. Slavro noted with a smile that Kelly looked around before saying that.
Murphy walked over, wiping oily grime from his forehead with a damp rag, but he only managed too smear it across his face.
'All set sarge, made some modifications, but she's ready for dust off anytime.' said Murphy with a huge smile
'What modifications?' asked Slavro, already cursing himself, he knew how Murphy could talk.
'Got some servitors too mount autocannons on the sponsons, refueled it, reloaded it..'
Slavro cut him off before he could continue. 'As long as it can still get us there'
Murphy smiled. 'Oh you don't worry about that sarge'
Slavro, Kelly, Murphy and Flick leaned against the landing pads railings, watching the servitors go about their monotonous work.
'What you thinking Sarge' asked Flick
'hmm?' replied Slavro, taking a long inhale from his lho stick.
'About the mission, a snatch and grab with these people? Where supposed too be expecting 50 odd gangers.
why the feth do we need two Astratus? Somethings not right here, I dont trust her.' said Flick
'Your jobs not too trust her, its too trust me' replied Slavro

Character: Aajz
Location: Inquisitorial Safehouse
Situation: Arriving for mission departure.
It was time, Aajz had made her way to the safehouse entrance. The time was 03:45 Terran Standard time, slightly early, but at least still on time. She had seen the other members of the retinue on her way, most still preparing such as donning armour and loading up on supplies. She checked her own inventory, her surgical tools and mechanodendrites were all integrated into her carapace armour. The reductor and narthecium were functioning correctly, although much smaller than the Astartes Apothecarion versions, they were still very much useful. The reductor she possessed was far more compact than the bulkier standardized versions used. As a member of an Inquisitorial retinue she had priority in acquiring more archaic tech, the operational mechanism of her reductor was more akin to the digital weapons produced by the Jokaero, the surgical cuts from the micro lasers allowed cauterization of wounds to quickly sterilize the area to prevent further infection. Although not designed for combat, Aajz pondered if it would be possible it as a digital weapon when the fighting inevitably begins. Her mind wandered to the contents of the heavy medical case she now carried.
Checking her handheld case, it was full of the recently synthesized chemicals. It also had the variety of drugs and medicines that invariably would be needed on a mission of this nature, one notable chemical she possessed was a vial of polymorphine; she still did not understand why she would need this chemical. It was a "gift" from one of the Magos on Mars.

(Yeah that makes more sense to me too autocannons are for light vehicles door guns are not to be a main weapon on a gun ship but to suppress unfirendly troops and cover personal embarking or disembarking the vehicle. in real life T-choppers have ether 50 cal, 30 cal or 20mm grenade launchers. auto cannons are a secondary coaxsled weapon on super heavy tanks or twined linked as the main on a russ patrun, or the main on a predator distruter. pluse bolts are exsplosive shells any way and i find a heavy bolter is beeter then a autocannon.)

Character: Mikal
Location: Manor
Situation: Making mission preparations
Mikal was pleased by the approval of the guardsman, content that they reached an agreement. He was careful to consider the tip from the trooper as well, he ran the calculations quickly and determined that stubbers would work better as they were more lightweight and had a higher rate of fire.
the Trooper made to leave to conduct his one business, Mikal bowed his head to the man and made the sign of the cog. "May the Omnissiah favor you." He intoned politely as a goodbye. He watched the trooper leave and chuckled to himself about the manner in witch he departed. "Sparky", like he hadn't heard that one before. That done, Mikal made his way to the armory and retrieved the cases of servo skulls he had sequestered as well as finding two heavy stubbers and loading it all onto a servitor and then the Valkyrie with the trooper's mines.
The deed done, Mikal headed back to the shrine, he had many calculations and analyzations to complete, not to mention prayers and litanies to recite before he went into harm's way yet again.

With EmpFaith outta the way for awhile due to exam preparation and whatnot, doesn't seem like there's going to be much roleplaying.. which sucks, as it means my character won't be appearing for awhile longer.
Also, did anyone else notice that he's updated some of the log recordings specific to certain characters?
