To be honest, out of all the films mentioned that i've seen, I don't agree that they shouldn't have been made/were rubbish.
Though there is only really one film that i really dislike, Funny Games.... Its pointless and terrible, especially the 10 minute scene of boringness, and for some reason a shot for shot remake was made in English, with actors who didn't look the part, so was even worse than the original version.
But really, i just enjoy films, pretty much any film. Apart from Funny games, that sucks.

Really? Rocky and Rambo? You're talking about Rocky (not Rocky Balboa) and First Blood (not Rambo), right? Because that's just so wrong it's not even funny.

And I'm not sure how you can even lump in "Any stallone film" in that mix. What about Judge Dredd? Demolition Man? Stop or my Mom Will Shoot? Tango & Cash? Oscar? The hits just keep on coming!

Yeah thats a brilliant movie. ITV3 (i think) show it at least once a month... I haven't watched it all the way through for ages, but in recent months i've seen parts of it.
Ahh Pol, Super Mario Bros, yes thats terrible as well. Even Bob Hoskins thinks its terrible....

Automatically Appended Next Post:
As for Stallone in general, he (and Arnie) seem to get a lot of hate, for no good reason.
Most (not all) films either of them are in, are normally fun to watch. Lots of action and explosions, there not masterpieces, not by a long shot, but have simple yet effective story lines that are normally just designed for the action....

While I agree that Will Ferrel does play the same character in every movie he's in, I did like him in some of them. Anchorman is one of my favorite movies of all time, and has one of the best insults ever in it.

Gonna have to give a big ol' +1 for Super Mario Bros. A Mario movie would have been awesome. That gak was just awful.

Cop Land was good, And I liked Rocky and Rocky II, as well as Lords of Flatbush and Death Race 2000...other than that...not a big Stallone fan.

The you say. Genghis Connie loved it. Yes I do take my daughter to see musicals about murder, revenge, and cannibalism. After all sometimes you need to take your kids to see movies that reaffirm important family values...

Have you seen the musical staged? Or maybe the great performances version? The movie did everything correctly, but somehow it managed to lose the magic of the original. It feels hollow somehow.

But yes, Will Ferrel. I actually think he could be a funny guy, but his movies are just horrible. You can watch the trailers and get every laugh that the films offers.

I don't understand why everyone gets so hung up about the wanted bullet curving. First, it's supposed to basically be a superpower, so you can forget physics anyway, second uh unrealistic thing happens in a movie, story at 11.

To me the series that this was stemmed from is just several edited viral videos trying to force itself into internet based fame with its annoyingly high-pitched antics.

World War Z

I am a diehard fan of the books, they were books that managed to get me into a genre that normally I would never touch with a twenty-nine-and-a-half-foot-pole. but then they had to royally screw it up.

Running zombies? what? the whole thing that makes them scary is their inexorable advance, their moans and their utter alienness from humanity.

I mean, just the trailers got me depressed and hating the film already.

I will stay with the book.

Wanted was not good at all.

Let me explain why

If the graphic novel was never produced, Wanted would have been a fine movie.

However If you read the Graphic novel, the secret society was a collection of super villains, with costumes and such, it was an amazing book!

Then they made the movie and no mention of super villains, no mention of supernatural powers, and no awesome costumes.

Yep i know that wasn't the point I was making the fact was he lent his name to promote a film IMO that was absolute rubbish lending kudos to film that didn't deserve it. Thus promoting it to his fans and those who thought his name stood for quality film making, I know Eli Roth popped up in Inglorious but i fail to see what QT got out of it.

Yeah some of the aerial shots were really nicely done, i may be corrected on this but i think they used actual Zeros rather than marked up Harvards like in lots of older war films so i'll give them that. I know it was a US summer flick but the flag waving went a bit overboard but I appreciate it may not have been aimed at the foreign market. To each his own and all that.

The books more awesome. If anything the film is a parody of the book and its themes.

Plus, general stupidity. The Mobile infantry wear no power armor, fight only as light infantry with no heavy weapons (except for the 'cool' moment where they actually use the infantry carried rockets), and generally operate on a basis of stupidity. The film was made by men who are openly anti-military and apparently have no realistic concept of how the military works. Also, the bugs just weren't as cool as in the book. And Dizzy was dude who dies in the first ten pages. Its not even a spoiler to say Dizzy dies in the book. The character is completely unimportant to the plot.

The guys who made the movie knew it was bad too. Step one when you realize your movie is horrible. Add naked women It honestly has no real connection to Starship Troopers the novel other than characters having the same names and the title.

Poorly done does not=should have never been made. A movie about pearl harbor was a good idea, I was looking forward to it, and they released a crappy love triangle movie instead.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Just realized IMDb has a "bottom 100" list. There are some hilarious titles gracing that list (which is what I find great about it), including,

Santa Claus conquers the Martians
Troll 2
Santa with Muscles (any correlation? )
Santa Claus
The Barbaric Beast of Boggy Creek, part II

And, at the time of writing, the worst rated movie on IMDb:
Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2

It should of course be "genii". Can anyone testify to these movies actually sucking?
