I heard they were going to make a fourth Indiana Jones film, but thankfully it never happened.

It. Never. Happened.

I don't even KNOW anymore.

Highlander 2 - horrid and pointless. I can't even riff on it, it's so bad.

Sextette - the first movie that made me actually consider a self-lobotomy.

I agree with all of the transformer posts. I can only watch a series of explosions before I just mentally check out. Anything from Uwe Boll, just thinking about Street Fighter and House of the Dead make me want to headbutt an old lady.

Oooh..yeah... ..what a horrid film ( as was the 3-D one prior to it) , just goes to show how sequels can wreck a great idea, as I honestly believe the original JAWS was one of the best films ever made.

Yes it did and it was quite good...

That goes for the star wars prequels as well...

And to show I'm not trolling...

Any movie that's been made with Eddie Murphy in it for the past ten years...god awful movies were god awful...

Oh! And the Twilight movies! Somebody get a burlap sack for the head of that director!

Sorry Warork...That Crystal Skull film was just plain awful in comparison with the other Indiana Jones movies...
However, I fully agree with you about anything Eddie Murphy has done since he made LIFE..( last funny film he did)..
And also agree ( partially) about the Star Wars Prequels...Phantom Menace was gak...the other two were watchable...even with Hayden Christensen's terrible acting...
...As for the Twilight series...meh..I simply don't care...I personally found them silly...but ..look at who their target audiance is.

I thought the first Shrek was pretty good, with Eddie Murphy as a Donkey. Then again, I was a lot younger when it came out.

As for the Star Wars movies...I really don't see why they got so much hate. I enjoyed the prequel trilogy. I feel Jar Jar Binks was...unnecessary to put it mildly (I fear going against forum rules on this one ) but I liked seeing the background to the original trilogy, and how Anakin fell to the Dark Side.

Honestly if George Lucas had filmed himself taking a dump and titled the film "Star Wars", that would have been more faithful to the franchise than the prequels.

@ Goddard...

...Wasn't really counting Murphys " Voice acting" roles..was thinking more along the lines of his "live" stuff..." The Klumps", Haunted Mansion ..Meet Dave...that sort of thing.

@Fitzz...The fourth Indiana Jones movie was good, not great but good, I agree that it wasn't as good as the originals but it was still a good movie and I think it deserves a place, albeit a lesser place amongst its predecessors...

And I don't get why people hate on the last three Star Wars movies...they were done well...yeah sure they didn't have the same quality as the first three but they were still done well...I mean if you want to direct your frustrations at George Lucas then target all of the truly horrible spin offs and other gak that's come from that franchise...

I saw a clip of the third star wars film in Wal-Mart

Anakin: ”I should have known the Jedi were planning to take over.”

Obi-wan: “Anakin, Palpateen is evil!”

Anakin: "From my point of view the Jedi are evil!"

Me: "Sweet zombie Jesus, wft did I just watch…"

Aye, Murphey has really lost his way.

My fave three films of his are still Trading Places, Coming to America and Harlem Nights.

As to my own, can't think of many, mainly.. Twilight, yeah sparkly Vampires, someone pass me a shotgun stake launcher, also most of the X-men franchise, too many changes that make me want to projectile vomit at the screen.

Murphy now appears to simply look at the amounts he'll get for being in a film and nod rather than actually reading the scripts, but I defianitly agree with your " Murphy Favorites", good movies all.
Didn't really care for any of the X-Men films, particularly the third one and " Origins: Wolverine"...but...I did enjoy First Class..

Oh and 100% for Catwoman, I managed to watch 20mins of it before I realised either the film was going off, or I was going under a bus at the earliest opportunity.

...Ah...Yes, Bowfinger was pretty good as well, but..it falls into the time frame of Murphys last decent films ( LIFE was released in that same time frame ..1999)...seems that since 2000...short of Adding his voice to films, most of Murphys works have been less than worth watching.
