Windows Vista is FAIL, Windows 7 have 7.000 bugs ( instead of reparing it they are releasing Windows 8 next year to try it all over again. ), Windows XP still has better support for all games that are produced today + 90% of people are using it.
See what I mean?

If an operating system only has 7 bugs, like you said (7.000 is 7) then I'd use it in a heartbeat.
Also, more people are using 7 than XP.

Oh, I saw it now, I am sorry. I meant that most people here are still using XP, we are not US or EU.
Anyway I am not using XP I am using LastXP, custom OS made of Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista, I can support all from XP and Vista and I have DirectX10 support. Reason why I can't play BF3 is for not having Win7.

My point is, you don't get on land. You either die in the air or the sea but never on land at least until your body washes up on shore.
Never happens in my experience. Tank can never down the first little bird. Once that's on the mainland we have at least one spawn beacon up. And I have literaly spent 100% of my time as Engineer so far. So taking care of a tank is no biggy. (I always play out each class one at a time )
Plus he's terrible without the launchers.
Apart from only ever using launchers on infantry to dislodge campers?
Oh, I don't use the tank to take out the Little Bird when its in the air. I can get lucky with indirect shots sometimes but never continuously lucky. I use the machine gun on the little mini-van thing the Russian side has. Take out the first Little Bird in the air, wait for it to respawn and light it the hell up from a distance. Eventually the rest of my team gets the picture and soon we have both tanks and IFVs mowing down anything that tries to leave the amphib. Get a competent enough heli pilot and he'll just fly right into the launch bay and kill guys in their spawn.
Very good with RU on that map.
I will say this though, I hate it that it doesn't switch teams. I can understand keeping parties together but my team consisted of scrubs with the highest level being 20. The other side had mostly 20+ and the clan guys who had what I guess is prestige(little eagle and shield symbol). Five guys on the other team had F2000s and massacred us 8 round straight until we managed to beat them by 10 points in TDM. Then they stomped us 100 to 34. Terrible time had by my team.

I've run 7 on 2 different PCs since it came out (3 if you count my work PC), and I've never had bugs from the OS - Only from games and/or programs not designed to run on it. Which is no suprise there.

Argh. I might not be able to play this game any further. It crashes after 3 or 4 rounds of play. Shuts down my computer. I just realized it could be a heat issue. I think BF3 is overworking my GPU or my CPU. or both.

Try lowering the graphics and making sure everything is up to date. The game messes up on me sometimes when I do multiplayer 64, but I think it might be due to my sound card not being upgraded.

I'm running FurMark to check my card right now and so far its running great for about 25 min. I'm topped off at 82 degrees C. I downloaded new drivers too for my Radeon HD 5770 but have yet to run them with BF3. If the crashing still occurs I'll try lowering the graphics settings.

I ran a stress test on my CPU and hit high temps pretty quickly... I think something is up with my heat sink. Or maybe its time for a new CPU. I ran a temp monitor while running BF3 real quick and the temp for one of the cores shot up pretty quick. I think I found my problem. /sigh

Its likely the heat conductive gel on the cpu is the issue or it's jammed with dust, heatsinks don't really go bad (the fans can, eventually) and you'd be getting blue screens all over the place once your cpu starts to fail.

So after upgrading from gakky vista and a GT260 to Win7 and a GT280, I now have the horrible mouse-lag bug.
Here it is in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XCY7QL7YOU
While its not always that bad, it is sometimes, and basically makes it impossible to play. And no, changing to raw mouse input doesn't fix it, it actually makes it worse.

Dual monitors are one thing W7 doesn't like. Seems that plugging in 2 monitors tends to mess with most games running on 7. Try running one monitor and see if it fixes the problem.

Turns out my system just might have needed a bit of dusting. This afternoon when I got up that was the first thing I did. I'm running stress tests now and am getting cooler temperatures. I'm going to run the tests overnight and then give BF3 another try tomorrow. I'm sooo feenin' for some Conquest right now.

PETA's headquarters are currently 15 minutes from me right now. I say that everone comes over and we all play the campaign on large screens and repeatedly stab the rat in front of their offices. Of course it is cold out so bring your fur coats, we will have a barbeque going to feed anyone who arrives.

Finally flew a frogfoot, loved mowing down those little jeeps. Shooting down the A-10 was cool too, but I can make a jeep go boom faster.
I now hate MAVs though, they are incredibly annoying especially when there are three of them from the other side buzzing around and trying to get kills by ramming you.

I found a fun tactic in caspian border.
1. Unlock mav and a gun for recon with silencer.
2. Hide in bushes near E, D and C (not necessary but the forest contains most bushes also having paratrooper camo helps)
3. Deploy MAV and scout the forest for enemies but remember where you are(try also flying high with mav as when you exit mav will slowly fall to ground).
4. Lastly ambush enemies when aren't looking at your way.
I had lots of fun using this tactic I got like 20-30 knife kills and 2 melee ribbons. I first just tried using IRNV (for scouting) but mav is lot better.
EDIT:

You shouldn't worry mav maving you down as it's rather hard to ram people with mav and you can't mav down certain people (mortar users, people who play with bots). True terror mav creates does not come from ramming.
I have 1053+41 mav kills
