Negatives:
1. Lack of vents on the plasma blast gun
2. Lack of umbilicals connecting the weapons to the body of the titan.
3. Lack of umbilicals connecting the head to the body.
4. The flatness of the coils on the blastgun.
5. Lack of an eye in the eye detail on the groin plate.

Positives:
1. The smoothness of the curves, its the first time I've seen a Mars pattern scratch build I didn't want to stomp.
2. Attention to detail is great, all of the distressing on the chaos components and the overall quality of the plasticard work is a credit to you.

All of the negatives are small things, easily solved, and would just add polish to what is already a stunning scratchbuild.

Okay lets see:

-Imo the weapons are a bit too far forward, from what i can remember of my fw warhound, theres a fair bit of detailing that sticks out behind the arm connector.

-Not a fan of the retro capped plasma blatgun, but thats just preference.

-I feel the carapace sort of goes in on itself, ie instead of curving then being a flat plane it continues to curve back into the body (this is from a front on perspective)

Other than that its a bloody triumph, again!

Thank you guys for all the feedback. You are only helping to improve the mass build I will soon be undertaking...

Lemmee address the negatives first.

the 'armpits' seem a bit bland, and the plasma blastgun could do with some more detailing (vetns, atrgeter on top),

Yes, and yes. I was not aware 'armpits' was the proper word, but I like it and it is now an official descriptive word for that area. I had to go with an older design for this. I have a new design I am working on but it failed. I feel like this could have been better, as well. I am going to perfect the new design before I build this again. I personally think this is the hardest of the weapons to make. The curved front piece is a pain to do it plastic.

-

The plasma blast gun is lacking vent holes on the muzzle end.

Doh! I think that was me being silly and forgetting poop.

-

2. Lack of umbilicals connecting the weapons to the body of the titan.
3. Lack of umbilicals connecting the head to the body.

I don't like them. For the head or weapons. When I do EL wire on the plamsa blast gun all the power leads area gonna be in the sponson arm. It doesn't make sense to me to have these vulnerable bundles of cables hanging outside the armor of the warmachine.

-

4. The flatness of the coils on the blastgun.

Hate it as well, gonna get some copper wire

-

5. Lack of an eye in the eye detail on the groin plate.

This was premeditated. My green stuff skills suck, probably could have carved it out of styrene but as I understand it the young man getting this is a fantastic painter. I don't feel bad letting him handle this detail, especially seeing as he will probably do it better in paint than I could have in plastic.

-

-Imo the weapons are a bit too far forward, from what I can remember of my fw warhound, theres a fair bit of detailing that sticks out behind the arm connector.

OK, may not change this though (except the armpit wall details - there are some cables and junction boxes I could have put in).

I intentionally positioned the sponson arms so that the angle of the arm itself, when rotated to aim the weapon, would move the back end of the weapon away from the walls of the armpit (look at column 1 below).
a=top view
b=side view
c=front view
d=arc of motion view

I think that the average build of the FW that I have seen usually cants the sponson arm out with the weapon oriented forward rather than forward with the weapon oriented forward as I have done. With the cant outward the back of the weapon would rotate towards the wall of the armpit (column 2) necesitating a further forward weapons position at the forward orientation. Am I making sense? Is the difference distracting from the overall aesthetic? Does it need a design change? I think this change would be too easy to do but without the ability to have multiple gimbal ball joints on the arm that are both stable and will stay put in the position I you place them in I can't see it yet. I need to go back over The_Blackadder's Lucy build and look at his gimbal joints again.

Also, I believe there is three or four times more distance between my gimbal joint balls on the sponson arms then there is on a FW. I could shorten that for a little bit of correction to this issue.

-Not a fan of the retro capped plasma blatgun, but thats just preference.

Me either, which is why I am trying to redesign how I build them.

-I feel the carapace sort of goes in on itself, ie instead of curving then being a flat plane it continues to curve back into the body (this is from a front on perspective)

If by this you mean that the back end of the carapace is thinner than it should be, Yes, I agree. The overall design is a little mishapen.

If by that you mean the curve of the carapace is not right as seen from the profile, that's because the actual shape of the FW Carapace has intersecting bends in the arc. I haven't figured out how to seemlessly do this and have it not look all fugly.

As far as all the praise, thank you. Stay tuned, because I assure you it is only gonna get better from here.

Hey, sorry I have been absent. Today was bowling night for me and my oldest son. Yes, that is the fact. The more inportant aspect of a commission is that I have to find the idea intriguing enough or difficult enough to make it worth my while.
