I love tentacle girls enough to have painted one. I won't judge you man.
Last sunday, we had another great Eden Day !
Not a tournament this time, just 4 games with a dozen players, including one mutliplayer game. I created a little add-on to play buildings in Eden, à la Mordheim or Necromunda. I was a huge fan of Mordheim, and I wanted to make my warriors jump on their rivals and try to stab them again !

Having only a few models to paint helps. You can spend more time on each miniature, and still have your group ready to fight in a reasonnible delay. That's something I really love in skirmish games !
You'll do a great job if you paint some Eden. Please show me if you do someday !
FAntastic stuff Minus. but dammit!!! You've got me looking through the EDEN store now - so many cool sculpts and factions........I really dont need to be buying more figs...but.......they are looking really good. Can't quite decide on which faction I like most yet. ISC are well cool but those Askari......and the Nephilim.......*sigh* there goes my money!!!
Hi Januine !
It would be great to see you paint some Eden too !
If you can't decide on a faction, you can pick two... or three. But there's also another solution. In Eden, you can mix fighters from different factions if they have the same stigmata.
I'll give you an example :
This band is from the faction type :
All of them have the same logo on the top left of the card, in this case the two scimitars on the green circle of the Askaris.
The stigmata is the logo on the bottom right. Here they all have a different stigmata but it's not a problem since they're all Askaris.
On the contrary, we have here Vladd, from the Jokers, whose Stigmata is "Chaos" as shown by the skull on the bottom right of his card.
If you want, you can gather fighters who all have the "Chaos" Stigmata and play them together. For example, you can add Lilith from the Dante's Angel.
Lilith plus Vladd make 60 points, you still have 40 points available to recruit more warriors.
Since there are 11 factions and 5 stigmatas... that's a lot of possibilities.
Sweet. I really have to look into this some more. Who sculpts the figs for Eden? I was watching a few Eden example gmaes on Beasts of War - looks like a pretty tidy game

Thanks man !

There are several sculptors, most of them are french as far as I know. Main one is Mohand who created the game. And there are other sculptors that second him. In general it's indicated in the online shop who sculpted and painted the model. For example the second Musharef Askari was made by Jean-Marc Brisset : http://www.eden-the-game.com/musharef-askari-2-art853.html "Original painting Sebastien Lavigne and sculpting Jean-Marc Brisset."
I have found a short introduction video to Eden, in english.
It shows some key informations about the gameplay. For more details, there is a more complete video on Beasts of War :
Nice one Minus. I watched all the BoW vids. Introduction one looks good. Gonna pick up some stuff at the online store once I've cleared off all the stuff on my present painting line.

Thanks Azazelx !

It would be definitely great to have you paint some Eden. I'd love it.
And I see we all have the same problem. I litterally have a dozen projects on my desk, waiting for paint. Currently I have so much things started that I don't make any progress since I don't really know where to start. I should stop thinking, grap my brush and have a go !
Hear that! I ordered the bases for Deathwatch:Overkill today and suddenly realised exactly how many figs come in that box!! Ah merde - I'll finish them sometime next millenia!!!

Drybrush them, you'll finish that quickly. Well, maybe that won't look that good... but at least that's quick !
Ok guys, here's a teaser of what I'm currently working on. People wanted me to paint jeans so here I am.
Soooooo much more to do on this model... and it's not even for me !
And I finished Nybbas yesterday ! This model is for a friend from Belgium. He has a nice Dante's Angels band (you can see a pic in my blog article).
More views (and my friends models) are visible here : http://code660066.blogspot.fr/2016/06/eden-peinture-de-nybbas.html
Who can guess what was the inspiration for his tatoos ?

The Ordo Reductor - the guy's who make wonderful things like the Landraider Achillies, but can't use them in battle..
Thanks guys !
The jeans were the starting point of it all. In fact, I organized an Eden gaming day recently (see top of the page) and a friend brought this model for me to show him how to paint jeans during lunch time.
But we didn't have the time in the end (to much chatting with everybody) so I kept the miniature and promised him to paint the pants and do some tutorial.
After the jeans were done, I decided to paint the whole model. I thought it would make him happy. ^_^
I'm back with an ISC band. This is the new ISC starter. With these three models, you have 100 points and that's all you need to play.
Skirmish games are fantastic.
That's quick and easy tabletop painting, but I still like the way they look.
Thanks guys !
@ ckig : I guess that's a common problem for us all. The good point is that you don't need a lot of miniatures to play Eden. Resistance generally has 4 fighters, and Convoy 4 or 5.
Speaking about Convoy...
I painted The Condottiere, a limited edition mercenary, to play it as Georg. It will be a perfect count-as.
Sweet work Minus. Love his eyes and the skin tones are top banana.
Oh 0 - while I'm about it - had another read through that tutorial you made on weathering - really helpful stuff for the vignette base I'm making at the minute - cheers fella
