Reet tiny update, as I just cannot be arsed picking up a paintbrush today... maybe laters... anywho, finished magnetising the Crimson Fist figure and here's some pics:

Hmm, wonder where from. But no more for you until you pay off your tab
Put stuff on ebay and added more to my own thread. Rather amused that some of the stuff I'm selling is turning out to be quite watched. I'm expecting the bidding at the end of the week to be nuts.
With luck this month I'll be about £150-£200 closer to my goal. And my parents have said once I hit the £540 mark they'll pay the rest for my new system.
Now only a CSM player.

My choice of painting music Relaxed, slow ish and a good beat.
Got the base colours done for skin and armour on my daemon prince of nurgle now and ive undercoated 10 letters, 20 horrors, the grinder and 10 seekers lol.
If your bidding then: Firefox + fast hands + good connection = Easy auction sniping.
Nothing like outbidding someone in the last 2 seconds of it ending, more so when someones using an auto-bidder.
Also, im not sure if you do it, but i tend to clean the brush off in my mouth between brush strokes, all i can say is, foundation colours taste fething aweful! lol.
I snipe on there alot, but only if its something ive been looking for for a while, or if its something rare.
Like stealer hybrids (plastic box of them)
Nice at £9.50 lol. (for 12 in total with spare parts)
The old paints like flesh wash were fine (and seemed to smell like chocolate)
Foundations though, they just taste wrong -_-
On a painting note, GW's glazes are pure gak!
Just had a play about with them, and theres not 1 i like.
Poor consistancy, low pigment and just generally poor to work with.
Usually i'd blame my brush, but its bloody new
No lol, i went out on a whim a while ago and brought a kolinsky sable S7 brush.
After using it you really do notice the change.
That was just a size 00 brush, so ive ordered a 000,0,1,2 and 3 now to see what they are like.
Amazing brushes though, but the prices start at £9 for the 000 and end up at £13.30 for the size 3.
So thats the best part of £60 lol.
Then i added in a new pallete, mixing agents etc and ended up at £150 lol.
Even if you only order 1 brush, pick 1 up to try it out, they are bloody amazing!

Agrax Earthshade doesn't smell as much like liquid ass as Devland mud either

The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
I love the new paints. Khorne Red has such better coverage than Scab Red it's unbelievable. And the new washes don't smell like toasted diarrhoea!

I won three different lots from the same seller, a 6 man unit which cost £14.50, and two 5 man units at £13.50 each. tbh, I thought that was a bit of a bargain.
lols nah, I don't use hormagaunts as they are pretty useless currently, Termagants are more cost effective with Tervigons. plus Horma's don't fit my style of playing tbh.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also adding those 16 Rogue Trader Hunter-Slayers to the 9 plastic 2nd ed Termagants as well as the 6 metal 3rd ed Termagants make a nice haul this weekend from eBay ^_^
