Gorka is awesome, especially with the "I want to be an Ork" Digga mob.
Or the muties.

Though Gorkamunda is for when your Necro gang gets just too "pimpin" for regulr play, so ya crashland em on gorkamorka, and see how long they last till their nothing more than a really well equipped Digga gang.

Necro's fun and easy though. all you have to do is grab some scenery, 8-10 guys, thne try to murder the other guy before they murder you. Though you have to balance quantity vs quality, as en expensive loss, can be a crippling loss.
But it allows for so many possibilities. One of the guy's I've been playing with for instance, has an all Squat gang that currently lead on kills, I got a gang of muties with me Scavvies, just need to pick up some 'stealers for my Genestealer cult gang, got me Orks though they are painfully hard to replace.
Even encourages you to make and design ya own gang Houses.

Because the rules for Necro were never updated past like, 1st edition though, it does require tweaking in certain areas to simplify everything, but the potential for expansion is incredible.

I was interested in staring Necromunda due to the modelling possibilites it offered, plus it felt like it had the potential for strong narrative game play.

I started reading the rules, never played it before, but never finished

It has pretty awesome narrative possibilities, because it never said you -have- to play it inside the Necormunda hive. Others exist, so you can literally customize every aspect of the world, with ya custom hive, and ya custom gangs, with custom outlands.

So you have your House, the skills you want, the look you want, struggling to make an impact on a potentially brand new hive, with even vehicles in the streets.
It can literally be anything you want.

I did, but i've plumb forgotten how many I had. I'll have to double check, you wanted 4 right? I don't think I have that many spare.

Saying that I have run out of guard so will probably be getting another battle force at some point, soon.

sorry.

Yakromunda is a great resource to use to get the basics of putting a gang together, after you've put 2-3 rosters together, it'll take you 5-10 minutes to do a fresh roster with pen and paper. And rules are super easy to obtain with the pdf's sat on their site.
PM me if you get stuck though, I got another pdf with the stuff to create your own House I can send over.

Well I think Dark Heresy went quite well, you lot certainly got confused by what's going on which is pretty much the idea of that section.

Got no idea what I'll be playing next week

Yeah it was pretty fun, we have a new mascot "Father Dribble" and Frag is now the the undisputed Hammer Chapion of Quadus what's not to love.

Asos I learned that I can do melee, all I needed was a chain weapon.

Warmahordes would be good no idea which army I'd use though as my Retribution army still needs to be built and my Protectorate of Menoth army is horribly underoptimised.

If not Langleys try Great Eastern Models (assuming it's still going) near the Heartsease roundabout.

My mates use Curtains, they cut them down and tie die them, gives them a good tough base to work on, i personally think tie dieing curtains is stupid, but i cant argue with the results

I've discovered something today, bottles of MIG Productions Rust Effects stink, great effect but they really do whiff. Oh well at least their powders don't stink too as I can see myself getting a lot more of them now I've given them a go too.

This counts as Leman Russ project is really turning into a nice test bed for me to try new painting techniques on. Of course as per usual I'm not making it colourful that just wouldn't be right after all I even paint gold as dirty as possible.
