@Heretic Tom - No, Eisenhorn is not for sale! He's defintely one to keep for me. The Mhara Gal though I'll be doing a giveaway for on my twitch stream. Super happy how the reds came out - was trying out some of the Vallejo model colours and really like how they worked out (VMC blackred & VMC burnt red btw)

Thanks again you guys. The Mhara Gal daemon contemptor was a fun paint. He's all done now and raffled off. He'll be winging his way to Australia next week once I've got some proper photos taken.

Heya Bottle. Been busy as buggery. Work n streaming a lot but the paint is still flowing. Working on Judge Dreed, some orky commissionings, Deathwtch (of course!!) and Cherubael for some 54mm love!!!

I recently acquired a 54mm miniature of my own from the Inquisitor range, that being Quovandius. He's not high on my priority list for paint or anything, but are there any special things you need to do to paint something in the bigger scale? Assemblywise I'm already figuring I'm going to have to pin him to hold him together.

Yup pins. Gotta be done. heavy buggers those 54s. nothing massively different in the painting just be aware that transitions and the like show up a lot more starkly than on 28s. keep it smooth as possible adn enjoy

Many many thanks guys, he really is a lovely sculpt and I've loved trying out a few new things like the pelt. He's getting there. Shoulkd have him finsihed by the weekend. Gonna get the wolf skulls, which are the last big areas to be done, hopefully all finsihed on stream later today. then its just finishing touches and a base

Quite shiny in places I would have matted more (e.g. Ork's skin, chap's cloak). Is that a stylistic choice or exaggerated by your photo lighting? Not wrong, just curious.
