Thanks for the generous offer, but I'll have to decline. The postage for stuff from the US (plus the almost guaranteed import charge which will also include a bogus £8.99 "handling fee" from the Royal Mail..) makes that $10 mount up far too quickly.

No worries,
It's open to anyone interested, though it's a narrow swathe of people for whom it would be worthwhile. Here in the states they're still quite cheap I think. I've just got alot of toy vehicles and this is one I probably don't need 2 (or was it 3...) of.
The bigger Armadillo now on general release, spotted for 30€ ish in the EU
Scrolling back I sadly prefer the Target exclusive one, a better fit for 28mm
I keep watching this ship. If it goes on super sale after Christmas, I'll be getting one. It's the perfect thing for the Star Wars and Halo figures my son and I like.

I designed and printed a few guns for the Lightyear Hyperspeed ships. I've put them on Thingiverse for anyone that's interested. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5714595
I love it when they print alternate language versions of things on packaging, and the alternate version is just the same as the English version. I mean, why bother?
For folks with a Walmart nearby, this just got price dropped to $15. We've Discussed this before, but for those wondering, the Nano Metalfigs figures supplied are about 34mm.
Playmobil isn't the company that springs to mind when I think of toys aimed at adults but I'm not surprised by this and I bet the Venn diagram is larger than you think
I've read several different ways of crunching the numbers but it looks like at least 14% of the US toy market is those over 18 and it's been growing.
https://www.tfp.org/why-is-the-toy-market-targeting-adults/ Playmobil seems to be tentatively following the lead of LEGO who has been going gangbusters in this segment for over a decade.
Scale is much too big. Look at Wargames Exclusive or die cast toy limos.

Oh I don't doubt that adults buy toys.
It's just that when I think of the elegance and posh of James Bond, Playmobil is not the brand that comes to mind.

I followed that rabbit hole and found a world of Playmobil stuff I never thought existed. Not something I care to collect myself, but still cool.
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.
Grotsnik Corp. Sorry, No Refunds.
Playmobil can be a nice starting point for terrain
I've got a bunch of the plastic desert rocks I textured and painted and they've been in use for over a decade. I keep seeing the gladiator arena in pop up on people's tables. Also I've got the pirate island without any other parts in the garage awaiting use someday...
