Kimmy is a good name, I think my sister was named that, it's hard to remember though, becoming astartes means that I've forgotten so much since my ascension

OOC: Trying to expand my guy's character some more. Apparantly he has trouble remembering his family before his ascension to astartes and this troubles him greatly. Oh, and he's now super protective of the psyker girl

*psyker girl picks up Badrukk from her position on top of backpack and begins petting him some more*

How old are you? [Pats War Kitten]
It only takes a human 70 years to start forgetting, it is excusable to be tired.

Admittedly it takes me about fifteen minutes, but that's because I've been shelled repeatedly, and had a literal personality transplant. I'm still not sure if I like grapes.

**War Kitten**

I'm 345 years old, 335 of which I've spent as an Astartes, first as an initiate, then a scout, then a full brother. All these years I haven't even considered my old family once. And now I don't remember them, feels like I've lost a part of myself. You regular humans have it good you know? You get the chance to have a family, a normal life outside of war and death. Even you BC can have a chance to have a normal life, heck, even Co'tor the mad tau scientist would get a chance at normal life, or what passes for normal amongst the tau. All I have to look forward to is several hundred more years of war and pain before I finally fall to some horrific enemy of the Emperor. And now I've forgotten one of the few things that kept me human. I feel hollow now
*sighs and takes off helmet and examines it*
What am I now? Space Marine? Human? Demi-god of War? I don't even know now.
*looks very small for a minute*

... [Considers] it's no reassurance, but the fact you care means it isn't lost. You're no less human if it still bothers you.

[Kimmy taps War Kitten on the back of the head]
...And maybe she could help you. I'd be careful though. It's very unlikely that you'd only remember your family.

[Rubs neck] My family were murdered by shiny metal xenos while I was alive. I don't really want to remember. Then I'd know what I was missing.

Perhaps it's better that I don't remember, offers me the chance to make a new family, of sorts. If you could call this dysfunctional group a family.
*looks contemplative*

*Walks up to BC and hands him a soccer ball (or football for everybody not in the US)*
*looks proud of self and somewhat expectant*

Thank you! [Gestures to War Kitten and Kimmy to come play as well] [Draws a goal on the wall in chalk, and stands in front of it] [Kicks ball in a straight but not violent way towards Co'tor]

**War Kitten**

*starts playing soccer with BC, accidentally kicks the ball through the wall*
Ooops... my bad, I'll go get it
*retrieves the ball, game resumes*

**Buttery Commissar**

... [Puts in mouth guard and resumes being goalie]

[Vox headset answering machine beep] I'll get that later.

*walks over to opposite wall and draws a goal there to*
*becomes goalie for other team*
