Wonderful as always, I expected no less!
I love how you took a Chaotic model for the base and with subtle and well-placed usage of Imperial symbols and associated gubbinz, you made it feel right!
That head is a delight, with all those straps and that eye-coverer thing.

Once again, gorgeous. It really is astounding to me at how good you are at creating an entirely cohesive model in every regard. The build (inspired), the paintwork (meticulous), and the richness of character all come together perfectly.
Now, do it again

Hey, beautiful work man. Jus wonderful!
I had a question though: my friends and I are all really interested in a 40k based skirmish game, but have found some of the rule sets out there rather lackluster. I was just wondering which ruleset you use for your Inq28? I looked through the majority of this post, but must have missed it if you said which one.
Does the ruleset you use allow for Chaos war bands too? I would love to put together a war and lead by a Chaos Marine and including cultists, other marines, and possibly daemons. I also have a freind who's played Dark Eldar since he and I bought the 3rd Ed. started kit back in high school, and who'd like to build a custom war and too.
Edit: forget blue text. Didn't realize that Inq28 was the name of the ruleset and that it's been implied the whole time. Still, beautiful stuff man, keep it up.

Sageheart, dsteingass, bbb, gianlucafiorentini123, Cheers guys.
monkeytroll - I am so lucky. The head is brilliant. I'm not so much seeing the tech gangers though.....no sun glasses!
STC_LogisEngine - You have the muted palette thing going too. It just feels right to not be prancing around in bright colours. I mean the Imperial Fists can get away with it due to shock and awe tactics and having armour like a tank.
weirdingway - I never understood why its only the forces of chaos that can use vicious looking weapons/knee pads in this case. Its not like the Imperium are the good guys.
Mister Feral - Then you are going to love my Inquisitor I'm going to be using Sayl The Faithless.
Accolade - Oh no did someone call an ambulance?
prime12357 - Will do. But got a lot of painting to do before I build anything else 40k
greg0985 - We use either the Inquisitor rules or Necromunda Community Edition rules. We generally just play with what we want, to us the rules are really just something to do with our models. So if you want chaos just paint the appropriate models.

PDH, what sort of game do you play with your buddies in terms of the Inquisitor models?
I am often stunned by their quality and find myself wanting to join in on the Inquisition frenzy, but I'm not sure about how to essentially build a game from the ground up.
The scrap dealer looks inspired as always.

inmygravenimage - If you mean the lens on the cog symbol and hand scanner I thought about it but this is an NPC.
nathanie1 - Well there is quite a lot of vallejo smoke (looks like oil) all over the grooves and rear section of the model. I actually imagine the back sections a lot like a engine.
Llamahead - Now where did I put them Night Goblins Down the line he will most definitely be getting some smaller orderlies.
nerdfest09 - Cheers. The Warden was great fun and the head is wonderful. The mechanicus stuff is going to be for a board, so plenty of characters to build and paint over the next year I guess. The board is going to be mechanicus market scene akin to this sort of thing:
Accolade - We play either Inquisitor (using 28mm models) or =][=Munda (Necromunda rules but more free reign to choose what you want). The games are generally narrative/story driven. If you want ideas the Dark Heresy books are a good source of inspiration too. The most important thing is to have a group of friends who are wanting to tell stories, create characters and not win at all costs. Molotov @ Inq28 blog is actually in the process of creating a battle report for the last game we played, first part is up here http://inq28.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/a-long-overdue-reprise.html
Here is the background to an Inquisitor game I GM'd earlier this year:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Vid coder recording recovered from the personal residence of Port Bulkwark Security Personnel - Sgt Lyins. Raid led by Arbitrator Ganz - Arbitrator deployment due to faked security log and missing vid coder recording. Sgt Lyins – found guilty of neglect of duty – Punishment: execution. Vid coder recording passed to Inquisition – Routeway: Inquisitional Representative Bastion – Inquisition Palace Dalthus Prime – Ordo Xenos – Inquisitor Hoth on Helicus.
DATE: M40.0002.0003.44456
LOCATION: Segmentum Ultima – Dalthus Sector – Hyades Subsector – Bastion – Port Bulkwark – Hanger 0093 – Security/Customs Clearance Area.
Verbal Transcript of Vid Coder Recorded Document
Three cloaked figures <i, ii, iii> are seen pushing a large anti-grav contaminant vessel towards the security partition. Port security guard <identity confirmed - Sgt Lyins> slowly opens the security barricade allowing the three figures to pass into the clearance area – without the mandatory security checks.
Trailing wires from the containment vessel get caught on the open security barricade. Cloaked figure iii pulsl back his cloak revealing a third arm, ending in a razor sharp claw <xenological match found – 89% verification - Tyranid – Genestealer - Xenos/Human Hybrid >. iii slashes through the trailing cables and the three figures continue off the vid coder screen.
Sgt Lyins closes the barrier and falls to his knees wrenching and vomiting. He then loses consciousness.
18 standard minutes pass and Sgt Lyins regains consciousness, is seen to be in a state of confusion. He checks the vid coder control screen. Watches the playback, vomits. Sgt Lyins begins remove vid coder data storage device..........Screen turns blank............Recording ends.
++++++++++++++++++++++
Hoth’s investigation has found links to a local warehousing firm, operated by a minor imperial cult – The Sky Father, after investigating Hanger 0093 manifests. Inquisitor Hoth has decided to investigate the Warehouse Silo, though he holds little hope that the Genestealer cult would leave direct evidence to their lair.
Inquisitor Hoth is posing as a merchant wishing to rent space within the Warehouse Silo. He has arranged a meeting with Reverend Kane to be shown the premises.

Solid work on the scrap dealer, but not one of my favorites.
Excellent work on Rence. He reflects in elegant simplicity everything one would expect from an inquisitorial stormtrooper with the welcome addition of being a person i.e. having a history.

As always, with the Enforcer and Scrap Dealer, fantastic, characterful work.
Really looking forward to seeing that whole Mechanicus Market scene set up once it's all done, even if that is some time away.
Any plans on using a Vostroyan as the basis of one of the dealers? The Guy on the left with the Bearskin just stands out quite a lot and I feel the Vostroyan already have a suitably Mechanicus feel to them.

I built a skitarri a while ago from the flamer vostroyan but never got round to painting him http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/215486-Skitarri%20WIP.html?m=2 ......hmmmm might have to dig him out.

So in the first post of this thread back in 2010 I was working on a Snakebites Clan Nob.
Roll on four years and its finally finished. With GW releasing some fantastic new Orks it seemed like the right time to finish him. Plus Abi bought this for me on valentines day 2010 (or was it 2009?) and it felt wrong having it half finished.

Aside from that Snakebites prefer the simpler Big Choppa to the tecknikal-wotnotz of a Power Klaw, great job!
The tribal dags adorning the armour are a nice touch.

Neil and Monkey - I should probably point out that the model took about a week to paint with a rather large gap in the middle.
Monkey - lets not even talk about the Space Wolf Dreadnought thats been half painted for six years.
Neil - Ad Mech Market I hope to hear your ideas on the 21st, JB has picked up a load of FW tiles and after much persuasion is actually washing them first. Is the reference picture hanging over you right now?
Mister F - Na power klaws are ok. If they can turn boars into cyber creatures a power klaw is a okay. Now the buggy they are riding around in is dubious....
