Yeah i wouldn't mind trying out some D&D as long as the group doesn't mind that it's my first time.

For D&D

We will play once or twice a month, most likely Saturdays so not to upset the 40k balance. Each session is 6-8 hours with break. Right now we play at Don Mills and lawerence. If anyone is interested send me a PM

I just have a Trygon and 20 more Gargoyles to do.

This Saturday Heavy Support is holding its monthly tournament from 12:30-7. I haven't been down in quite a while, figure I'll go and try my luck. Anyone else going?

Hmm I am free saturday, i could find myself heading down there, guess i'll need to work out a 1500 pt list to run.

Remind me, what time does it usually end? Maybe I'll bring the new nids, if I can make a list with the models I have.

First games starts at 12:30pm and it's over by 7pm. Three rounds of 1500 points. No sportsmanship(except vote for best at end) and no painting scores, unpainted models allowed. $20 entry fee all of which goes to prizes which is just store credit.

And Dark, considering I don't think I've ever seen you play a tyranid army yet, I don't think we're the ones who need to look out. . You should skip right to Tau and let Rythem and I scavenge your hive fleet for biomass.

I may opt out of the tourney, since I've only played one game in the last 5 months. But I am free Saturday to game at legends. You could even use some o my models from my tyranid army if you want to have a bigger game

I used to be into D&D, 40K just kinda took over, I only have room for so many hobbies...

Cool. I'll probably be at legends at around 11:00. I'm driving the kid up to my parents in the morning, so I'll make sure to post here by 10:30 if I'll be delayed a bit, but it shouldn't be an issue. I don't want to make you drag your nids around if you don't have to, so I can just proxy any models with random ones I bring along.

What points level do you want to run?

I am not sure what your ready to play. i have lists from 1500 to 2500. how many points of nids do you have?

I wouldn't mind trying out a 1500 point list or two. I'll have a few proxies, but not so many you won't know which army you're fighting.

1500 points it is. you sure you dont want me to fill those proxies? most of my nids are un painted. got 2 trygons, tervigon, broodlords, zoeys, tyrant ,flyrant, swarmlord, hive guardsblah blah blah

Unsurprisingly, I'm running late with my 2 year old, so instead of having you just sit there and wait, let's say I'll be there around 12:00

Oh... and Kungfu... don't put me in the same comparison grouping as yourself... maybe people won't have to worry much about you and your Nids... but mine will be a different ballgame all-together! Trust me... Dark Eldar... NIDS... Tau. I wanna pound some SpaceWolves... too bad we have no more Space Wolf players venturing out to Legends... wink wink... I would even enjoy pounding Optimus if he could manage to stay for an entire game without running off!

Since we always meet for games, we should also have make a day were we play a game but also make use of some of the tables for some painting or modeling. I really want to paint these tyranids up nice, but I know I can use some tips on the finer techniques.

Weekends would seem to be better for that as we wouldn't have the same kind of time restrictions plus it's more likely people will be free to game.

Oh and a big thanks to Build in for the thrashings. I have a pretty good idea of exactly how much firepower a Tyranid army can eat as it sowly dies. Much lie the hive fleets before us, we have learned well the lessons clashing with the Dark eldar, marines and Tau. Hive Fleet Fenrier is just creaping in. All will fall and be consumed.

Actually it releases at 8pm tonight, which is what i'll be playing all night. But by wednesday i could be pulled away to game during the day for a bit before playing again at night, mostly going to be teaming up with a couple friends and playing with them and they work during the day.
