yeah i'm installing as we speak, though it doesn't active till 8pm tonight, so i bascially have to fill my day with distracting things so i don't sit here thinking about it.

I can still be at legends this weekend. I think I am available both days, but will only do one.... Diablo 3 . 1750 if anyone is game

To those of you starting GK armies, I have 1000pts of GK infantry I'm looking to sell.

It's basically 2x10 Purifier squad, 10 Strike Squads, 2 extra incinerators, 5 Interceptors and Crowe.

I'm 90% done painting them to a fairly high tabletop standard. I need the drive to finish them off.

Would anyone be interested in buying them? (after I finish painting them of course)

Hmmm.... I am always interested in easy ways to add to my armies... I know nothing about Grey Knights though... anyone able to give me some feedback... I see that Rythem made a few 'cheese' comments... please expand on these....

I currently play Dark Eldar and am happy with them... I have purchased about 1800 points of Nids which should be all painted and ready to go upon my return at the end of May 2012.... I was thinking of maybe picking up a 3rd army just because in the past week it seems like 10 other regulars at Legends also decided to build a Nids army!!!! So, any opinions on what army would be a good one to buy? I do like playing stuff that is a bit more rare-to-see, if you will. Tau? Grey Knights? help. I also don't know anything about the infantry units for sale by Built-in.... are they good? I like that they will be painted...

Grey Knights are seen as one of the most powerful books right now.

As a reference, at the recent Adepticon tournament in Chicago, someone tallied that 22% of the armies that went were Grey Knights (from a pool of like 240 players.)

As an example, take their Strike Squad (basic Troop choice) and compare them to Tactical Marines.

100pts for 5 Strike Squads guys (and a sergeant.)
90pts for 5 Tactical Marines (and a sergeant.)

Marines have bolters, pistols, frags, and kraks.
Strike Squads have Storm Bolters (so superior to bolters and pistols,) frags, kraks, psyk outs, and Force Weapons on everyone (power weapons that can suck souls.)

One could argue that 10pts would pay for the power weapons alone.

But the Strike Squad can also Deep Strike, has the Aegis rule (-1 to psychic tests that target them,) and has 2 psychic powers (+1 str and Warp Quake.)

Now, once you look at 10 man squads it's a different story, but the 5 man example does demonstrate what you get for your points.

And Strike Squads aren't even that popular in competitive builds (so you can imagine how powerful their other choices are.)

So is anyone else up for games on Sunday at Legends?

Anyone planning on doing the Conquest Toronto tournies either the doubles or singles or June 9-10?
