at Hk1x1...pics please... whenever i researched for similar tanks i never saw any pics of this one...

at all our meat devourers... in fact i beat you all... i really often eat meat raw...totally uncooked or baked or grilled... because... does anyone of you know the true taste of raw meat? the fine salty taste? sweatness? no? many would argue it is hazardous, unhygenic or even yucky... not me... i really like the taste and the freshness and the consistence... really go and try it!!!

what you see here is two tracks mounted under the now cured and cut to size bottom of the tank...
the tracks are atm rather bland ones... i am sure i will make them prettier sooner than later!

this however is what it currently would look if it would be actually glued together...which it is not

because this is the lower part viewed from the inside... the cork is for structurat strengthening...
dont look too sharpish at the square plastic on the very top... it is already cut to size as i write this...
also... there will be a bigger top tower... where there is already a railing and later on room enough for nice detailing...

and about the uneveness of the tracks... the screw of the chop-it loosened with everybit i did... thus making the tub-bitz longer each time... i only saw that at the end...
but since everything will almost be unseeable as it is the underside...no big point in wasting materials, right? right?...d´oh

The Chop-it is definitely inferior to the Chopper II

I got the chopper III, and still it loosens each time

It's because of the Chipboard base. I extensively photodocumented the problem earlier in my thread.

Mine loosens where the arm meets the pivot. I know about the divet from your thread, but the arm loosens then you don't get a 90 degree cut.

And I would go Iron clad, not steel (subtle but important difference.)

Also on the tracks, it depends on which army you are going to use this for. Imperial Guard they are ok and un-noticeable underneath. Grot they are perfect because they can't make 2 things the same if they tried.

All round fantastic work, nice to see production again. And I am in awe of your ability with very difficult shapes. Would take me forever to get that right. But you just knock it out "There you go gents a dodecahedron out of thin air" Amazing.

Oh the rivet placing potential of this tank is very much there!

I was pricing a BBQ, and one of the best looking and 700 dollar ones had rivets on the bonnet! That alone was tempting enough, and the fact it was a superior model to the rest I am however having to settle for a close second that is not as rivetted, but at 269 is easier as we do have the gas bottle but a broken BBQ once we move however, I may spring for the awesome rivet griller

ok gents... what is the difference between iron clad and steel clad? in terms of look? (i know the difference of the materials)
also... shaso... a riveted BBQ...so long as the beef gets no rivets (ouch...think about your teeth before you say anything more )

and shaso... it will get zillions of rivets... it is just still in the pre riveted zone...

oh and cam...and for all others that praise my work ... the shape making work here isn´t that hard... really... the thinking of how to get there was mindboggling tho... i am really no genius...and it took me quite some brainseizures to figure out and trying to remember what my maths teach tried to put into my skull...

and then... friday i went to my artshop... and there stuck in the middle of some lampshades i found a how to make your own lamp shades instruction...really...it had angles and a whole lecture of geometry... i will show you pics later on... with this you all are able to make your own tortoise tank in no time...(of course my whole work was done in that department already when i found that instrction...)

and if someone is interested in seeing how i costructed the "bowls" i will gladly make a step by step...
