It would match my experience with other companies if Hawk didn't start at order #1. At a guess, I'd say their first order was #1000. Otherwise, I can't imagine getting 1K+ packages out the door in one day.

As a further data point my order number is #1320, placed on 6th July and I've not yet received a shipping confirmation.

I have now had confirmation order No. 1285 has been shipped.

guy's shipped out almost 1300 orders in a day (it's about 4:30 pm in the uk) - not a bad start.

Got shipping confirmation for my order #1327, and my friend got his for #1330

I think they were all collected by a parcel company and they are just catching up on emails and confirming shippment against paper work. It would be madness to keep going with individual orders.

At least the larger orders would have all been collected IMHO.

Just a heads up for you guy's.

I started to do a test colour scheme on a PHR Athena, working on a digital pattern and colour choices, wasn't too pleased with it. So I then used Dettol to strip the miniature and it cleaned up fine.

Here is a picture before I stripped it.



No issues on the cleaned miniature at all, just the Dettol smell.

And two months later I check out this thread for the very first time. This entire range is stylish and awesome, there is no bad in this. Congratulations on getting something so awesome out of the gates and I'll be picking up some rules & minis and I'm really hoping for the best. You're models are just so damn stylish, a very refreshing break from the grimdark. I love it.

Carabus- Cool, good to know! Any chance of more rulebook info, I.e. anything about force construction / limitations? All I know is "no all fighter jet forces" or the like.

Was there even anyone posting here who had claimed to have played the game? I mean the blog that was posted had a game report, and rough description of how the game plays, which makes me think if anyone really wanted to they could have posted already?

Actually I have played the game, I played a play test with Dave at Dave's house, however we did not have copies of the rulebooks and any rule reference came from Dave as he took us through the game and how it worked. I then got a chance to look through the rules in a rough format at the end of the day, I mostly looked through the stats for the PHR as that is the army I was interested in.

Free downloadable terrain for the game makes me -very- happy. The barrier to entry has now been reduced drastically.
