well i used red on the optics and lenses so i wanted something diferant to contrast so you got scorpian green and enchanted blue and its stayin

Update i got a bronze medal in my chefs comp. today i brought some more mk8 torsos and also a black templar mk8 for the sargeant, some pre heresy khorne berzerker helmets for sargeant and 1 for mounted captain. so now i will have a 10 man vanguard squad all kitted out in m8 torsos, inquisitor and studded shoulder pads crusader helmets and a plethora of power weapons and plasma pistols. hopefully fingers crossed all the parts arrive by friday next week so they are at least assembled by saturday for my eldar rematch.

Are you gonna be freehanding the symbol onto the Predator as well? Cos the freehanding you did on the Rhino was ace.

Now for the Fluff
The hammers of Dorn where founded during the 13th founding. The high lords of terra deemed that they need a group of skilled space marines to form close ties to the inquisiton and stage raids in adn around the eye of terror. There gene stock was taken from geneseed havested during the imperial fists fight with the iron warriors during the iron cage incident. The hammers have a deep seeded hatred for all things chaos. They second there veterans to work with the ordo xenos and malleus quite frequently thus honing there fighting skills against the forces of chaos. Some marines become so proficient at this that they are fromed into speacial vanguard squads equiped with deadly close combat weapons and still bear the Infamous I symbol of there former teachers upon there shoulders. The men that form these squads are looked upon with mistrust by there brother marines as these men share some of the deepest secrets of the imperium. One such Vanguard Veteran, Brother sargereant Jacob of the fist company was seconded to a xenos deathwatch squad. what happend on his time away is not known but when he returned he had been awarded a speacial title " DeathWatch Custodes "by the dark angels. it is well known that they warriors of the 1st company of the dark angels are named deathwatch but why he was awarded this title is unknown and he has given no reason as such. The rest of the Hammers of dorn follow a more codex structure relying on devastor squads to pin the enemy while an assualt force flanks or drives a wedge into them. Captain Aviram of the 1st rides into battle upon a genestock bred steed. the steed ( thunder mane ) was a gift to him from the black templars after a brief war on the vile eldar wheres the captain saved the life of one of there ancients. Many commanders scoff at the thought of a horse on the modern battle field but many a times has thundermane delivered the good captain out of harms way and some times into. Chapter Master Samson Delphi is a mysterious caracter he has been around for 780 years and his real whereabouts are only known for 400 of them. at some time during his captency is was tasked on a mission that sent him off alone none knew except the chapter master of the time but 200 years later he reappeared wearing the Articfied armour he now wears and welding a great deamon hammer not long after his return he took up the title of chapter master and thus has been leeding the chater for the last 180 years. he is a warrior without peer and excels at fighting choas and has led numerous personal raids into the eye against chaos strongholds.

Awesome fluff, but I think you got Deathwatch and Deathwing mixed up.

Yeah got a game today against eldar

Deathwing for the DA (think this has been said but w/e : P)

Deathwings one goal is to hunt the fallen so if he somehow captured a fallen angel they would like him a lot. A LOT. If he found out about the fallen angels from that fallen angel (maybe even encountered him and thought he was a missing DA) then the DA inducting him into the deathwing would kinda make sense to bind him to the secret and help the DA hunt the fallen.

didnt end up playing had to take care of some gak. first game i played didnt do to bad was mainly my dice rolls which let me down
