Even though some of the figs I ordered where delayed, I've received extremely good communication from the company keeping me up to date. Excellent work on their part and well worth the wait.

Still not received mine yet - middle of March. I ordered the the command group in 28mm. Anyone else got theirs yet?

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

When I saw your picture, I thought I should try again to photograph the Vampire head.
And so here is a photo of a correct cast of the Vampire head:

From the look of your picture, it looks like you got a miscast on this one. Do write us so we can send you a new one.

At the same time, it is true that the Vampire head is one of our disappointments with the Asharah 28mm mini. As it turned out, the 3D sculpt of our mask was too delicate and thus, did not come out very strongly on the 3D print. Although it was still readable, we thought that a dab of green stuff on the master would help define its features. However, the manual sculpting was not what we expected, but it was too late to go back and repeat the entire process an additional time. So the 3D printing is not at fault here, more appropriate 3D modeling would have avoided this issue entirely, something we've incorporated in our upcoming minis.

I think our issue is that they're in France, we aren't. It seems the people who have gotten their minis are on that side of the world and in the first run of orders. That doesn't quite explain MGS not having his, but we also don't know where in the line his order is. I'll definitely let you know when mine arrives, though.

Ah.. yeah, it looks like I do indeed have a miscast. I'll drop you fellas a line asap as that is the head I would have liked to use if I'm honest.

On a side note, I would like to state even among my slight negativity. I am still very interested in you as a company, and I have no doubt that this is alll part of the learning experience.

They are, after all your first releases, and I am looking forward to seeing some of the other figures you are working on.

Especially the Sisters style ones.

For those interested in shipping times, I received an email today that my command set has been shipped. I'm guessing 5-7 business days to get to this side of the Atlantic.

Probably more like 7 to 10 buisness days dependign on their courier efficiency and our customs office efficiency.

Four to six weeks? I sure hope not; I ordered some things from UK eBay recently, took about two weeks to get here with standard service. I guess we'll see. I'm glad to see everyone else getting theirs, though, we've all been waiting quite a while.

In other news, I really like how this giant lord is coming out. The liquid flames in the cape will look fantastic with a highly-contrasting paint job. I would love to see a slender version made, especially since it would make the (what I'm hoping to be) vicious Manticore he'll be riding even more menacing!

All orders are being shipped via Royal AirMail, so 10 days is probably closer to the mark...

Also, wanted to share with you that there are now only 65 28mm Command Groups left, and also that our special promo "buy two, get three minis" ends March 31st, as we're finally beginning to catch up on our deliveries (we haven't yet won that war, but every day victory draws nearery...) and three new minis are forthcoming in the next few days. This Special Deal is particularly sweet for the 54mm Command Group, where you can save 26.90 Euros / US$36.

And finally, here's how Asharah (28mm) looks like some paint on her:

Finally got my command squad. I'm going to echo some of the others here. The detail appears washed out to me. In my opinion not worth the premium price.

I would switch over to traditional sculpting or some kind of hybrid between greenstuff sculpting and digital sculpting to let your ideas translate to miniatures better.

Got my twins late last week, amusingly the box was labelled as coming from Yorkshire. Didn't have time to look at them properly till last night but now I have I'm quite impressed with how the model goe stogether, no wonder they had so much trouble with it.

The detail is as everyone else has said, not as impressive as the 3d sculpts made it look, a pity but it is their first product.

For those of you interested, Raging Heroes has a new mini up for pre-order: Sil-Iriah, Spirit of the Woods!

Yes, we know that the command set that came out recently in 28mm wasn't flawless and RH admitted as much themselves. We don't need a ton of posts saying "I don't care until I see metals/reviews/etc." I'm sure plenty of Dakkites and members of other, less awesome forums feel that way and you can be sure there will be plenty of reviews out there once the mini hits homes. It looks like RH is giving themselves a generous release date of late June.

That being said, for those of you who know you will be wanting this one then you should pre-order soon, RH is offering discounts for the first 100! For those of us with various discount codes, it isn't really listed whether or not you can combine them with this offer.

So, on to the mini!

Syl-Iriah comes in two sizes.
Heroic, an impressive character standing 10cm high, she can be easily included in any unit with the 20×20mm base.

Legendary, a massive supernatural creature, towering above the battlefield with her 16cm height, she’s based on a 50×50mm square base.

A third, Epic / 54mm scale version, will be available soon, and will stand 25cm tall.

Seriously, these things will be huge! Wood Spirit Comparison Chart

It looks like they really listened when everyone wanted a version of her to fit on the infantry base as well as a monstrous creature size. Need an infantry general that still towers above the others? Need a treeman replacement? They've got you covered either way!

Heroic (20mm base):

Legendary (50mm base):

Unfortunately, the software on which our system cannot be set-up to combine discounts.

Indeed, one of the reasons we haven't had any new releases until now was not only because we were handling the backlog of orders, but also because we've been hard at work completely upgrading our production pipeline.

We tackled the problem from three different angles.
- First, we made made new tests with several 3D printing companies to locate one that could deliver significant improvements in the 3D printing process.
- Second, we reviewed our previous sculpts to see how each sculpting decision has an impact on the final 3D print. We then used this info to fine-tune our sculpting approach and methods for the new sculpts (this includes the Spirit of the Woods and the upcoming Vampire / Dark Elf Lord).
- We are currently looking for more experienced traditional green stuff sculptor to touch up any details we're not happy with in the final 3D print.

So you will see significant improvements in the quality of our new and upcoming releases.
