Well I'm hoping to get mine soon those are going to be the last pieces I need for my 12 man blood angels army. They look great so as long as I know they're coming I'll be happy. I honestly just think a solid time frame is whats in order here not much else.

I am still patiently waiting for my 10 preheresy jump packs, preheresy rhino armor, preheresy drop pod doors, 4 shoulders pads.....*Sigh*

Shoot me an email on your PO # and I can do my best on estimating, like I said I have about 6 orders with Jumppacks shipping this week (blame the guy who ordered 20 sets for hogging them all!).

I work in the internet mailorder business, and I can say that waiting 5 weeks for something that didnt physically exist at the time you placed an order is an amazingly good timeframe.


5 week turnaround is really good for something that needs to be created, quality-control checked, packed, invoiced, shipped to the distributor, checked into stock, repacked, invoiced again, then mailed out again. Shipping times alone can take up 4 weeks of that.

I have customers who wait 3 months or longer for something that is IN STOCK at the manufacturer!

personally i made my pre-order, and yeah the stuff was late but i had kept abreast of the situation. People need to be aware of the size of the company and keep updated with whats going on.

I got mine and loved them despite how fiddly i found the metal plates to stick on (but i am dyspraxic so thats my issue).

Now i would admit if i hadn't kept an eye on the forum i might be a lil worried/irritated by the lateness or lack of contact on this.

However the products i have orderd from them (twice now) have always shwoe dup and have been brilliant pieces and brilliant to work with. In some respect easier than some of GW's own stuff.

So people don't let a couple of angry gitz get on your tits if your a buy or if you work with chapter house.

I appreciate that alot guys. I do get positive comments daily, but its the negative ones that cut to the heart, ya'know?

Plus people take advantage of the internet to destroy a business' reputation, even with false information and exagerations.

I guess the only thing you could do differently is to be specific about the number of models available for pre-order, beyond which say its a wait-list.

For the people who don't know the Chapterhouse store front is really a one man operation. Being generally small like this it means you can't have thousands made in advance, it means you have to have a faster turn around on product in smaller quantities. CH is not GW, CH can't spend a month or more manufacturing a stock designed to last over a year. Before GW sells a single model, they will have been pulling sprues out of a molding machine for a month and will have prodcued 30000 or more kits.

Chapterhouse is saying rather than make you wait a month or more, they will sell them as they are produced. I don't know what people expect but when did "as quickly as physically possible" become too slow?

You had to wait two weeks till the release, 1-2 weeks for your order to be filled, and probably another week for it to ship to you. I once ordered from another miniature company and it took me 3 months to get my order. With these smaller companies its not their fault when those who are doing their casting are taking extra time. Now you can make an arguement on what promptly is but given CH is a one man operation a couple weeks is pretty prompt. GW spends alot more and can't accomplish a comparable turn around time.

Now, I know Pyriel is rude (and he is not to post ever again associated with Chapterhousestudios), but have I really been rude at all? I give the facts as I have them and try to be as cordial as possible. Shoot I even tell people what invoices have been shipped out. What other companies do that?

Exactly. I am chapterhouse too with Nick but Since I dont possibly know what to do in order not to make people mix my private user up with chapterhouse I decided to stop posting or post only in the painting section or in otherwise limited manner.
I have a bigass mouth and a bigass opinion that is often seen as overly rude and I cant use it since it draws bad attention to chapterhouse. Thats why you almost wont see me in here any more.

As for Nick and the work he puts into the whole customer part of chapterhouse I must say I´m amazed what he has to go through with trying to please customers and keep the production side running as smoothly as possible with the limited time that he has. I would probably go ballistic ages ago but he is a rock.

As for some blog site smearing crap at chapterhouse, exaggerating and editing replies on their own side, well I hope the owner mans up but that is in the end entirely up to him.

Yep trolling Nick blatant this time. I posted a review on your company that is just that. Wargames Factory didn't get butt hurt with their review, gorgon and I chatted earlier about their review and that they are happy about it as they know what to work on. This has nothing to do with you not sponsoring the brawl I really care less on that fact I have GW, Showcase, Battlefoam,Trollforged, Thewarstore.com and several others. The second order was placed for the brawl with brawl funds for some extraprizes. Say what you want Nickpost what you want but in the end you are being childish. Ship the orders that were paid up your customer service because this plain and simple proves what I wrote. And with that I bid you adu!

I had to wait a bit for my jump packs to show shipped (Got the email tonight though), which is frustrating of course...but considering a Sang. Priest direct order on the GW site shows 2-3 weeks ship date...heh...life goes on....



Every time I've emailed Nick, about this order or past, I've received a reply in 24 hours. Every reply has been courteous, thorough and honest. I've spent a fair share of money at Chapter House and never been disappointed. I would wholeheartedly recommend ChapterHouse to anyone I know.

Tonight was shipping night (or the labels etc etc). Last nite I was packing...

I put an update on the site, All orders up to #725 are shipped(or tommorow). Keep in mind only about 1/3rd of the orders have Jumppacks in them. We are getting about 300 per week minimum now.

AOE, what really irks me about EmpChild, He says I was rude and took forever to email him back. I just emailed him copies of his single email on 4/21 asking status on his shipment. I replied to it 1 hour later... not rude at all but telling him to expect 2-3 week delay (which is pretty spot on).

If I get PO'd its because of false accusations and the like, I try my best to do the best I can, I work 40+ hours full time, take nite course online, do this part time, and try to have a family life as well. Am I overly sensitive, probably , but that goes hand in hand with being a good business person and customer service person.

Anyways, I have a ton of new shoulder pads I need to photo and list, and get them up on the site this weekend, ill start a new thread then.
