The Blade wrote:imho , I dont think the captive girl is comparable to gw slave girls.
The GW girls look like slaves willing to please their master. Almost like cheap oversexualized holiday souvineers.
While Uri's sculpture captures the fear and despair of a girl who has been taken captive and knows she is about to be......harmed in some horrible way.

I think that is a bit harsh on the ole GW slave girls, they are decent models and I suspect GW have sold many, proving such.
However, I thankyou for seeing past the exagerated proportions to see the emotion that I wanted the 'captive girl' to show.

Yeah, I can't agree more. The first arc is the best, IMO, but the rest of it is amazing too. I wish they would make the rest of it. That comic series is just amazing, and it seems to be going for the record. What are they on, volume 36 or so? Berserk may be the longest at the rate it is going at.

I think One Piece holds that title right now, at 57 volumes.

Sorry for the Off topic!

Awesome model.., I'd echo the part about the multiple packs, with different sizes/poses.

This is a very American attitude, so the mention of Puritans is quite appropriate. In Greece, they have billboards of topless women advertising tanning salons or plastic surgeons. There are shampoo commercials with huge tits jiggling all over the place. After 10pm, one network channel (not premium pay for channel!) starts playing instructional Skinemax-style softcore.

Having seen the model in profile, her chest is kind of weirdly shaped and pointy (whoever said before that the underboob portion is oversized and throws off the proportions was right). Maybe she spent her non-slave life wearing Madonna-style bras one or two sizes too small. I love the expression and downcast feel of the whole model, though. I'd buy it if it was US based.

P.S. One Piece sucks. It's that long because 80% of the series is filler.

You may be projecting. Just a tad.

I'd happily buy the model if it looked like a believable woman. I spent extra to track down OOP metal Daemonettes on eBay. This model is just a bit silly, is all. Which makes the thought and attention that went into the face and its expression a bit creepy, to be honest.

But the way that so many people on this thread are jumping to attack people for not liking a toy soldier- sorry, for not liking a toy of a toy soldier is hysterical to me. Isn't it great we have a website where we can all be hysterical together?

Now you're projecting. Let's not get all weirded out by hyperbole. We're having fun, are we not?

I'm not attacking anyone for not liking the model. I don't think my post indicated anything of the sort. I was just amused by the posts that are making the model into an attack on the dignity of women in general. Particularly by those who have somewhat suggestive avatars themselves.

Again, thanks for the feedback guys. Luckily, no-one likes un-believable or creepy miniatures.

It's a nice sculpt and I know that if I was going to be taking slaves the women with huge, delicious breasts would be right at the top of the list.
I don't play any armies that require the model though... Maybe I could pimp my Monolith?

What are you saying?

Stick her on top of some warrior legs and - voila! - a truly unique "Flayed One"!

btw, she has toes, ten of them(I admit that they could be painted better), but maybe some people would be more comfortable if she had twleve toes.
Anyway, she's available, if you like her....good, contact me if you want one. If you dont like her....equally as good, don't contact me.

Thank you for your continued patience Uri.

Let's lay off the overly harsh criticisms and sniping folks, this isn't a large company, it's someone's art.

Solon, 'no comment'? Then the answer was not to post...

Lay off this, he's heard the criticisms, this is a guy manufacturing his first model, if he likes the aesthetic, good for him, if others like it and wish to purchase it, even better for him.

If you want to have a discussion about female anatomy portrayal in fantasy, then start one in the discussion board.

All power to the grief reductors, lets let this simmer back down and stop assassinating aesthetic choices.
