Right, as opposed to Space Marines, who are not at all cartoonish, but very realistic. Assuming you were able to genetically engineer a superman to be 8 feet tall, impossibly muscular, and integrated with a mechanical suit of battle armor.

But we can't do that.

Know what we can do? Breast implants.

But hey, at least you scored "I'm sooooo above that" points with your wife.

Right. That's what gets me about the replies in this thread - the people that try to prove that their on some sort of moral high ground for having the disdain that they do. Well, if liking boobs is wrong, I don't wanna be right! And to the poster crying about being offended by them - this isn't Flames of War or something that is trying to depict real characters. This is a fantasy world (even though it is 40K) and fantasy worlds aren't necessarily bound by our laws. I mean, have you seen the cover of all fantasy novels? I don't know if I've ever seen one where the women aren't big-breasted. I mean, look at Firiona Vie (sp?) from EverQuest! Sure, they look more natural, but they're still huge!

Get off your high horse. If they offend you and you don't want to buy them, guess what? Don't.

I'm converting a DE Raider for my Archon. I've added a platform to it, smaller than Asdruvael Vect's. I wonder if the platform has room enough for my Archon and one of this ladies. I was doing it only for my Archon.

Is the postage payment for each mini or for each shipping? I'm thinking about taking 2 of them. One would be an objetive marker, and the other one would travel in the Raider.

13 or 16 pounds? (UE postage, to Spain)

Hardly comparable. The problem mentioned with this figure isn't the unrealistic part so much as the usual objectification of women in fantasy. Even for a fantasy figure she's a big girl, they aren't "fantasy curves". It's beyond fanstay and nearer parody, it just looks daft and reinforces the idea that gamers are some bunch of sniggering socially inept teens. Most of the posts on this thread are making breast related jokes. I like naked women as much as the next guy but this is adolescent nonsense which is a shame because as a technical achievement it is a good sculpt.

She's got plenty of clothing and the rest is whatever you have chosen to read into it. I think the point is, that if the breasts of a miniature are the focal point you've gone a bit too far.

It's a "captive maiden in distress". What else would the focal point be, her sparking personality? Or the volunteer work she did in college?
