Excellent model. Funny I never imagined there would be so many posts against heroically proportioned boobs.

yes i agree with that. heroes (and heroines) are what fantasy is made of. I can see her beating someone to death with those. Imagine that for a saga

My problem with them isn't the 'heroic' proportions so much as the fact that they look like implants. Breasts that large don't sit like that if they're natural.

So if it's meant to be a model of a modern-day stripper, it's great. If it's meant to be a fantasy model, it's anachronistic.

It's a good sculpt. A bit over the top, sure, but a fine sculpt.

As a sculptor and artist, it always makes me laugh when people (not necessarily anyone in this thread, just saying) get all up in arms about small sculpture or animation related proportions, like Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin, for example.

The fact is that if something was drawn for animation or sculpted realistically at this scale, then it would be very hard to get a quick read on the character or sculpture. Visual shorthand like larger breasts and smaller waists are almost (almost) necessary in order to ensure that a figure in those media looks feminine in the first place.

Pretty much why GW sculpts in their Heroic Scale, or whatever they want to call it. At small sizes like that, proportions change to the eye, so certain things have to be emphasized or exaggerated to get the feeling you really want.

There's room for super busty laydeez in some wargamer's collection, I'm sure.

If it were US-based, I'd be tempted, just to pair it with the GW version:

Nice one! And I love your avatar, Berserk is the greatest comic of all time!

P.S. I think the mini looks great, and the boobs don't bother me at all, not like anything else about our minis is true to life proportions. Heroic scale, right? Well those boobs are definitely heroic in stature!

GW in the 80s was a different animal. Track down the Realms of Chaos books if you want a treat.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

I wasn't sure to look at it, but are you sure that's the unreleased version? It's worth a small fortune.

Oh and for Ultraprime and others, it's not an 80s figure but an unreleased version of the slaves that came with Asdrubael Vect's DE flier. The studio occasionally do small numbers, sometimes just one or two copies, of figures that they circulate among themselves and others but which never go on sale. Among the more sought after are the DE bra-less girls and the topless fantasy witchelves. Obviously a few slip out onto eBay and the like.

Here's a page linking to all sorts of 'unreleased' miniatures.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Indeed it is, and still going strong, although some of the panels occasionally have so much going on that it's hard to follow. I consider the fact that they only animated the first Arc one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century.

GW in the 80s was a different animal. Track down the Realms of Chaos books if you want a treat.

Ah, the good old days, when everything was grim and dark without being grimdark, and Slaanesh was actually more creepy without his followers being just a bunch of horny marines with bewbs on their armor. There are .pdf's of Realms of Chaos and Slaves to Darkness floating around in the interwebs if you're only willing to look.

edit: Damn you John for posting a DE mini, that just served to remind me that we still have no idea when they will get redone.

Have you actually met a woman before or did you sculpt that in the darkest corner of your mother's basement after a particular serious session of making sure your sculpting hand was, you know, steady.

If the guy had sculpted those things on a set of sisters of battle I'd say it was in poor taste, but I think it would look great on a base with a Chaos HQ, Dark Eldar HQ, etc. holding its chain.

Guys guys, come on, now you're just being inappropriate. We shouldn't focus on her bodacious lung hammers, but rather what's going on on the inside, man.

Did you know she has dreams of going to law school and becoming a great lawyer specializing in gender issues, so she can represent the downtrodden like Erin Brockovich? Yeah, I didn't think so. You're all just that shallow. To reduce her to a pair of jiggly sweater puppets is just plain rude.

I think most of the people who are critical of the models proportions, arn't looking at the BIG picture. Don't you see the tactical advantage this model presents? I know allot of my opponents would be sufficiently distracted by the model.

If I use it as an objective marker I can almost guarantee what objective my sweaty palmed mouth breathing friend is going to consider most critical.

You just need to remember to use this model as a psychological weapon. I think this model could take a good player and turn him the breast.

The sculpt is well done aside from some anatomical concerns... a big pair of them that hang incorrectly. Sorry :(

just curious.

Are you actually the original sculptor, it doesn't matter too much.

I KNOW the original green of this model was for sale on ebay for 200 UK about a year ago.
