Finally got Vrosh Tattersoul finished up. Nothing groundbreaking - just the standard Crimson slaughter scheme. Nice fig though- some lovely details esp the head of an inquisitor on his backpack!! Just Kranon, Turmiel and 10 cultists to go msg that'll be the DV set done.

Nice! Funny how your 'nothing groundbreaking' is most people's 'fething fantastic!'

Really need to track down that fellow one of these days, I got the 6th Ed DV set that didn't have him in and there was no way I was paying character prices for him! But seeing as he's readily available cheaply these days, I really have no excuse!

So will you be doing Kranon or Turmiel for next month's comp?

Vrosh is a lovely fig - defintely worth picking up.
Can't do Turmiel as I've already painted his armour and made a start on his robes. So it'll either be Kranon or could do a few of the Space Hulk termies. Cutting off those weird bases they come with so I can rebase the on some nice resin bases I ordered though is a pain in the dremel!

Why stop at one or the other? Kranon versus the Termies!

lol. could do, could do.....wanting to get a squad of rangers and a few other bits also taken care of this coming month...have you seen that ridiculous list of figs awaiting paint I have?!!! No new figs till the list is finished!!!!!! Which is a bugger as I REALLY want to pick up a copy of DW:O.

Not that I'm anyone who should be giving you photo tips, but I find that when setting up a page like that, setting the background to the same colour as the borders you're using helps things look a little more coherent. Nothing wrong with how you've done it, just thought I'd suggest it!

In case you hadn't seen it, it's just at the right hand side on the Page tab, above the layouts. Set it to black and it just merges nicely with the borders.

Finally getting back to the DV set. Still have Kranon and 10 cultists to do but Brother Turmiel is not far off done. Bit rushed and not 100% on the cartoony blue but....well, we'll see
