Hi, I have completed the first two models in the new home! They are two workers for my settlement. I am planning to have other two (for the moment) and to give them the truck with the crane I showed before.

Thanks! Well the rider from the plaguebearer body is being painted now, so I'll show it soon; and for the space slann I'm planning something cool for a boss, still missing some parts but soon I'll post a wip.

Terrific work- and a modeler after my own heart: find the random household bit of junk and figure out a way to work it into a project, to the point where the observer can't tell what it was, originally!

Each individual piece is executed well, but taken together as a whole, the vignettes are really something special.

Wow I just looked through this thread and there are so many great things in here. I think these kinds of projects where someone's creativity really comes through to build a world are really fantastic. The attention to details on the conversions and terrain is great and I'm really brought back to my old days of making terrain from random household items disguised as interesting tabletop scenery. In particular though I really surveillance drone for some reason though. Looking forward to more stuff!

Excellent conversions but I don't like the rusty shields on the Enforcers as i imagine them to be elite troops sent to crush the slum dwellers and would therefore have well maintained equipment.

Inspirational work. The drone reminds me of Kosh from Babylon 5.

Hi, I've been working on the space slann boss, so here's a few wip pics. The (not so original) idea is to imagine a classic whfb slann into 40k, so the first thing was to make him look fat and lazy. In the right arm I plan to give him a fan. Coming to his transport, the idea was a floating pool in wich he'll be immersed.

i really like the floating pool idea! The tubing and such already looks good. I did think it was a bathtub at first.

Hmmm, thinking about it the really iconic Tyranid thing on the head is the carapace on top. Could you shave that off to make a smooth head (also looking mare amphibian)? That wouldn't require any GS skills at all

Today I've got some stuff to show. First, painted ones. They are Ahrkaa the shaman and his acolyte carrying a totem.

On the wip side, I've finished the space slann boss, flattened his head (thanks Ynneadwraith for the advice), gave him a bit more belly and a pair of nipples. Oh, and a fan!
Then the second rider with the tauntaun-inspired beast is ready for painting (see the finished first one some posts ago). Last, a biker, a model I've wanted to work on for so long. He's been given some fluttering hair; white things you see in front of the bike are meant to become lights.

After a while I finally painted my first big vehicle. It is meant to be a support and heavy work tank. I weatherd it pretty heavy, but I'm happy with the result. Hope you like it!
