Hi, I've been working on my biggest and most complex piece of terrain, so here it is, ready to be painted. Hope you like it!
It is meant to be a storage point, and the start of my modular tube pieces. The thing I like the most is the chain-operated elevator.

Hi all, I've finished my biggest piece of terrain ever, here are the pics. I've also painted two more air collectors, so the 3 are completed! Pics below, and wips in the previous messages.
Speaking of minis, the 4 alien mercenaries whose wips I've posted before are painted too, I'll post pics as soon as I make them.

My next project in a new terrain, and I'm going to something a bit different. I've always been fascinated by those great jungle terrains and tables, or even just minis, mostly because of the strange and weird plants, so I decided to try and make some. The result is shown below. But the problem is how to include plants in my rusty and toxic vision; so I'm thinking about some kind of greenhouse, relatively small but loaded with different plants, placed on a concrete base and surrounded with tubes, air filters etc.
What do you think? Suggestions are very welcome!

Brilliant plants B-Tone, this should be good. There could be a toxic spill in near your greenhouse, a small oasis of radioactive slime with the vegetation going crazy and mutated around it !

Hi, I'm posting my latest wips. The first one is meant to be a diplomat or a noble, and I will maybe go for a slightly different colour scheme for him, still undecided. The second is an alien merchant, part of a serie of four, and everyone of them has his own piece of terrain (you can see the wip pics posted ealier); I'll post a full pic of them as soon as I finish to paint everything. Then there are 3 new gangers, which are the start of a new unit, something like veterans. The one with the drone is a communication expert, has a microphone and an amplifier-drone to transmit orders. The last pic is a toy gun crried by a kind of beast I made mostly for fun and exercising in sculpting.
I already have started painting them, so I hope to post more pics soon.
As akways thanks for watching, opinions welcome.

Here we are, the last wips I shown are now painted. There are 3 fighters, a diplomat and the beast-pulled gun. The last alien merchant is missing, I'll show him soon along with his 3 companions (and the relative scenery pieces).
But next project is to build other 2 sections (1 is already painted, in a total o 4) of the gaming table.

Awesome stuff! I especially like your use of draft animals and the more spindly, robot part guys. Brilliant! The best part of 40K is projects like this. The only suggestion I could offer would be to mix up the metal rust effects - get some other metals and tarnishes in there while keeping the overall red/brown theme. GW has lots of different effects with slightly different effects that would look good. I look forward to seeing a whole table. will there be puddles of sludge and scraggly vegetation?

Kestral, thanks so much. I appreciate that the things you like the most are those in which I put the biggest effort and creativity! Your suggestion is good, I think I should improve my painting skills and try to add some variety.
Coming to the table, I've just finished the 2 sections I was building (will upload photos soon), so now there are 3. Those last 2 are quite plain, because I have a lot of terrain to put on. But for the fourth and last I am planning to do something more elaborated, there must be a continuation of the canal I did in the first, but not sure yet. We'll see!

Your models have a wonderful Blanchitsu feel to them, and your terrain is stunning. This whole blog shows that weird, creepy, dirty side of 40k that you really only see in John Blanche illustrations and passages of the Inquisitor and Necromunda rulebooks. Thank RedHavoc and Llamahead for your kind words, and rustproof, talking about greenhouses, here's my take on that subject. I imagine that on a dusty, polluted and rusty world, plants and flora in general don't grow spontaneously, so they have to be kept safe inside envirorment-controlled structures, which are even useful in order to collect oxigen. Let me know what you think!
After the "jungle" pics there's my latest wip, who's supposed to be a medic with an operating chair (human remains to be added).
