Suitably grungy. It has a lot of personality. Even sort of looks like it has a face.

Awesome stuff! My particular favorites are the garden of red plants, the planetarium and the Taunton rider. I love how you're not just using the bits in new ways but also sculpting quite a bit of new material. When will be get to see some diaroma type shots with the terrain and figures together with a backdrop? I'd love to see that. Keep up the good work, I loved reading it.

Thanks kestral, I must say the kind of shots you're asking about has been on my mind for so long and I reallt would like to see all my stuff together with a nice setting. Sadly that's not possible for now, since I recently moved and most of my terrains and miniatures are still at the old place; plus my table in only 3/4 completed. But don't worry, those shots will come as soon as I can! Thanks for following!

Hi, it's been a while, here's why: I decided to stop all my ongoing projects to start something I've never done before, some fantasy stuff. The inspiration came from mordheim and dark age of sigmar (or aos28).
I opted for a city built over water (lake or river) and to make it modular. As you can see, bigger bases (20x20cm) are for buildings, smaller ones will be water. Right now I have finished 2 houses, and started working on a tower.
About the warband, I got some archers and gunmen, the idea is to have some nobles hunting.
Enough talking, here some pics:

If your interested in aos28 and Mordheim can I recommend Frostgrave as well?

The Bestiary and specialist scenario scenery n Frostgrave are excellent inspiration for that.

Hi, I've painted my first fantasy stuff, and I'm quite pleased how they turned out.
The house base is not painted because it's going to be part of a modular series, and I'll paint all of them at once.
The warband is based on the idea of noblemen of various houses going hunting together, that's why the different colours, the fur and the expensive guns.
As always comments and criticism are welcome, hope you like the pics and thanks for watching!

Hi! Some progress on the city: two new foundation, one is for the tower (you see it's still wip), and the second will host a tavern or inn; three city guards, in their white and blue uniforms; three more bridges and two ships, just arrived from games of war (which I found really cool and cheap!). Hope you like the pics!

Hi, it's been a while since my last post, and I have a lot of wips going on. I put aside the fantasy city to focus again on the grim future. I'd like to give my rusty city more personality, writing some fluff that I'll post as it's ready. In the meanwhile I hope you enjoy this models I put together, and ideas and comments are more than welcome.
The first one is an evident quote of the Star Wars pod racer, definitely one of my most ambitious works so far. It is based on two Lego engines, connected by a tauros piece. The seat is an old warhammer bit.
The second is this big mosntrous creature I've been planning for a while, based on tyranids head and legs, but instead of a shell it has a leathery skin. It is ridden by a mercenary ork-ish creature, known as Obi Shattarq and for his savage approach to his enemies (or his master's).
In order to keep my market and merchants ranks growing, I planned a new caravan. It will be led by Rakko Senpaj, who trades in exotic (and often dangerous) beasts. Showing off his health being carried by a hover seat, he is followed by Ghu Yat, a human computer which keeps accounts of trades (inspired by Dune's mentat). The group is closed with a big beast carrying a cage which will contain a cruel creature.
Lastly there is a space marine scout bike conversion I've been thinking over for a while, and turned out pretty nice I think. I used a Lego turbine in the back, and made in plasticard the front engine.
In the last picture you can see that on my painting list there still are the enforcers vehicle, the space slann boss and the second tautaun-inspired beast plus rider (for those I still have to imagine some story).
It is all for now, I hope to start the painting and to show some of these models finished. In the meantime thanks for watching and happy modelling!
