Escher arm is extremely small and they have a slight curve plane joint. that allow up/down movement
Goliath have lock joint and the arm cannot move at all. , let a long put a magnet on.
Orlock might have flat joint and look quite possible to magnetize.
If you want to switch arm, i'd prefer using blu-
tac or small amount of super glue so you can yank them out easily.
For me I glued them, only Champion and Leader can change their loadout (that's why spamming mass stubgun is usually really dumb), With 2 boxes you should be able to run through a campaign fine with a variety of ganger with different equipment. Unless you really love to spam weapon (the usual mass lasgun, mass autogun/pistol, mass stubgun....)
